喜欢 Cafe on site, good clean showers and toilets

不喜欢 Unfortunately only 50 meters from main trunk road Ayr to Stranraer, so heavy traffic until 8 pm, quieter after 9:00pm, first lorries start again at 5:00 am. So ear plugs advised for light sleepers. Not ideal if in a tent, may be better in a camper van

喜欢 Isolated, very quiet, v. good field in which to pitch, high trees surround the field keep low sun out.

不喜欢 Very basic toilets and outdoor wash up sink. Occassional plane overflight (5000') as under the Edinburgh airport flight path. Bring provisions to eat as shops not so near to get to.
