A aimé Beautiful site. The views from the cliff top pitches overlooking the sea are outstanding. Toilet and shower facilities clean and tidy at all times. Games room outside swimming pool and well stocked shop on site. Great childrens playground and direct access to the rocky beach. Staff lovely. Couldn't fault the site in any way. We loved it and we will definitely return. Highly recommend

Good shop.
Nice play area.
Nice walk to the beach.
Only 4 miles to Aberystwyth.

N'a pas aimé As the site is situated high up on a cliff, it was very windy, the caravan was shaking !
You have to buy wi fi package.

It’s great to know you also enjoyed the shop, play area and the walk down to the beach, as well as the easy access to Aberystwyth.

As a clifftop coastal park, the elevated position does mean it can be windy at times — it’s part of what gives us those spectacular views. We do make this clear before booking, as the coastal weather is something outside of our control, and it’s always worth considering when choosing a location. It’s a shame that this affected your overall score, as the park itself delivered everything exactly as described.

Regarding the Wi‑Fi, we offer a paid connection so guests can choose the level of service they need during their stay. Many guests enjoy switching off completely, while others prefer to stay connected — so we keep pitch prices fair and simply provide the option for those who want it.

A aimé Location was beautiful, staff couldn’t be more helpful with everything and the facilities were exceptionally clean through the whole stay day and night. Games room and swimming pool really nice and great for the kids. On site shop offered essentials at reasonable prices and the pizza van on a Thursday was a great addition serving amazing pizzas.
We really enjoyed our stay.

We know your stay didn't quite go to plan before you arrived, as your original booking was for a campervan on one of our Kestrel pitches. When circumstances changed and you needed to bring a car with a roof tent instead, your booking no longer suited the pitch you had reserved. Fortunately, we had an unoccupied seasonal pitch available and were pleased to be able to move you to a more suitable location so that your holiday could go ahead comfortably.

It's wonderful to hear that everything worked out and that you were able to make the most of the facilities, the stunning scenery and the family-friendly atmosphere during your stay.

Poorly stocked shop.

Long, windy, narrow drive down to the site.

We're sorry to learn that other aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. Morfa Bychan is a mixed holiday park with both holiday guests and privately owned holiday homes, and many visitors appreciate the friendly and peaceful atmosphere this creates. We are disappointed to hear that this was not your experience.

We note your comments regarding the shop, games room and access road. The park's coastal cliff-top location and approach road are clearly described before booking and are also reflected in many previous guest reviews. Likewise, details of the facilities available onsite are provided so guests can decide whether the park is the right fit for their holiday preferences.

A aimé Love this campsite, our second time coming here. Stunning views over the sea. They r in process of building a new toilet block which is good to see too. Boys love the swimming pool & games room. Always very clean in fact there were people in the shower block cleaning up regularly even in the evening.

N'a pas aimé We had a friend & her son come to visit as we did last year & this year they charged her £7 to visit for the day whereas it was free last year which was a bit of a shock.

Regarding the day‑rate you mentioned, this charge applies only when additional visitors use the park’s facilities, such as the swimming pool, washrooms and play areas. When your guest checked in, they mentioned that they would like to use the pool, so the standard visitor rate was applied for both of them. This small contribution helps us manage facilities, water quality, cleaning and the general upkeep of the facilities for everyone’s safety and comfort.

It’s likely you weren’t charged last year simply because your visitors didn’t use the pool or other facilities during that stay or did not declare they were visiting. When extra guests do make use of the amenities, the small day‑rate per car, not person, ensures fairness for all holidaymakers who contribute to the running of the site.

We appreciate your understanding, and we’re glad the rest of your stay was enjoyable. We hope to welcome you back again soon.

A aimé The site was very clean and well kept. Toilet block and facilities were great. The use of the washing machine and dryer free of charge was an added extra bonus especially drying the towels after swimming.

Thank you also for your feedback regarding accessible facilities. We do have an accessible mixed-sex WC located next to the gents' washroom, and our team would have been happy to point this out had we been aware it was needed. We are sorry that this was not clear during your visit.

We're also pleased to share that plans are underway for our new washroom facilities, which will include a dedicated disabled facility. We hope these improvements will be in place for the 2027 season and will further enhance the experience for all our guests.

As a clifftop coastal park, our location does involve some narrow country lanes, and we always provide route guidance to help guests reach us as comfortably as possible. Many guests find that taking their time on arrival and departure makes the journey much easier.
