Likte Stunning sea views. Good size pitches with EHU and water. We found the staff to be lovely and friendly and very helpful. The toilets and showers were spotless, don’t think I have been on a site that cleaned them as much as they did here! Lovely walk into Aberystwyth on the costal path, the last hill into town is very steep going down which made for a big steep walk back up!!! Walked off the cake!! And the views were worth it!

It sounds as though you made the most of the coastal path into Aberystwyth as well. We agree, that final hill certainly provides a workout on the way back, but the views along the route are well worth the effort.

One of the things many guests love most about Morfa Bychan is its peaceful and secluded clifftop setting, away from busy roads and built-up areas. As shown on our listing, maps and local area information, the park is intentionally quite remote, which helps create the tranquillity and spectacular scenery that make it so special. Likte Lovely scenery. The campsite is very scenic and kept clean.
The staff were kind.

Likte ikke There was a smell by the mens toilets, but toilets were very clean.
The site is inappropriate for tent pitching as its close to the cliff and very windy.
We had to cut our holiday short because of the high winds and speaking to some of the more permanent residents this seems to be the usual practice.
During our stay there we were told that 2 awnings were flown away due to high winds.
WiFi is 5£ per phone per day.

Regarding the weather, our clifftop coastal location is one of the key features that many guests choose Morfa Bychan for, and like any exposed coastal site, conditions can vary considerably depending on the forecast. We always recommend that tent campers check local weather conditions before travelling and ensure their equipment is suitable for the conditions expected.

We were surprised by the comment regarding a smell near the men's toilets. We carry out regular inspections and cleaning throughout the day, and no issues were reported to us during your stay. In fact, many recent reviews have specifically praised the cleanliness and freshness of our facilities.

We were also unable to verify the reports of awnings being blown away. No such incidents were reported to the management team during the period of your stay. While strong winds can occasionally affect any camping location, particularly coastal ones, we encourage all guests to pitch and secure their equipment appropriately for the prevailing weather conditions.

With regard to Wi-Fi, this is an optional service rather than a compulsory charge. Guests are free to choose whether they wish to purchase Wi-Fi access, and the pricing is clearly displayed before purchase.

We had to leave due to a family issue but these issues made it an easy decision this time - we let them k law we were leaving early but they offered no refund of our unused stay remaining. With thought for our circumstances - it would have been nice to have the refund offered - real shame that these little things will prevent our return

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Firstly, we'd like to express our sincere condolences on the loss of your family member. We appreciate that this was a difficult time for you and your family.

We would, however, like to provide some additional context regarding the points raised in your review. During your stay, improvement work took place for a short period over one of your four days on park, involving our excavator as part of ongoing investment in guest facilities. The new washroom building is currently under construction, although much of the work at present is internal, including plasterboarding, with limited visible activity unless specifically looking towards the building area rather than enjoying the sea views and surrounding scenery.

We were sorry that this affected your experience and, as discussed, we offered a goodwill credit for the remainder of the 2026 season through to the end of November. As bookings for 2027 are not yet available, we were unable to extend this into next year at the time.

We appreciate your feedback and wish you and your family all the best during this difficult period.

Likte Lovely site, good facilities. Very clean. Nice little games room to keep the kids entertained during the bad weather that we had.

Likte ikke The distance to the toilet block was quite far from our pitch but that’s on us for booking the part of the site that we did. Would know in future to book further up the site. Also didnt really like the cliff top pitch as we went during stormy weather and it was quite scary being so close to the edge 😂

The Kestrel pitches are among our most popular pitches due to their spectacular clifftop views and are fully serviced, meaning most guests staying there tend to use their onboard facilities for showering, washing and day-to-day convenience, only needing to visit the facilities building occasionally. For guests who prefer being closer to the amenities, we're always happy to help recommend a pitch in a different area of the park when booking.

We also had to smile at your comments about the clifftop pitch during the stormy weather! While many guests love the dramatic sea views from those pitches, they can certainly feel a little more adventurous when the Welsh weather decides to put on a performance.

Pool is lovely and warm, undercover and very safe.

Toilets were cleaned and smelt of bleach all of time.

Staff very friendly and would always acknowledge or say good morning.

Likte The view is beautiful (Kestrel pitch 5) the staff were so lovely and friendly, the pool is great for families and the games room is fabulous for a rainy day.

Likte ikke The drive up to the campsite is a little tight, we met two cars coming back down and had to reverse back about 500 yards, although when you get there it’s totally worth it! The toilets are limited and dated BUT are spotlessly clean and the site is building a new shower block which looks amazing 🤩

Regarding the access road, you’re absolutely right that one of the lanes can feel narrow. We always recommend guests use the drive down to the holiday park, as this is the wider route with proper passing places. Some sat‑navs occasionally send visitors up the tighter lane instead, which can feel a bit challenging, but the correct route is clearly signposted and much easier.

As for the facilities, thank you for noting their cleanliness. We’re currently investing in a brand‑new washroom building, which is already underway and will provide modern, upgraded facilities for future seasons.

Likte Good welcome on arrival, shown to the pitch which was better than we expected. Very central with the park Infront of us for the kids to run off to and we could watch from the van. Amazing views. Already planning our next trip up next month.
