A aimé Very well equipped camp site! Pitches were spread out with tiered levels adding to increased privacy. The shower blocks were very good and kept clean. We visited in September so it wasn’t too busy but still enough people there. They had an Indian takeaway visit on Saturday night, however limited options. Would definitely consider visiting again. We did the river walk to Lyme Regis which was great! Staff were really friendly and helpful, always smiley and willing to help with any queries. Also saw wild deer!

N'a pas aimé Website and reviews makes the site seem stricter than it was in reality. I think it was one of the best campsites I’ve been too!

The website does list the do's and don'ts as this helps inform guests before they book so they don't turn up as a group with a car full of logs, a gazebo and a giant speaker for example! Hope to welcome you again in the future.

N'a pas aimé The staff are severely lacking customer service skills. Staff were rude, tactless and aggressive. We pitched our tent slightly off the hardstanding as the pitch was poorly maintained and had a big dip where the hardstanding and grass met. . We were instructed to move it immediately(late afternoon)….. tomorrow was not an option. After some discussion we were offered a refund which we accepted as we felt we were not welcome at Hook Farm. Very disappointed as we had travelled from Bournemouth and were looking forward to a peaceful holiday. Luckily we found a far more friendly site in Weymouth with better facilities and cheaper. We have done a fair bit of camping and have never been so poorly treated.I would not recommend this site to anyone

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for review, One of my team who pitched you onto the hardstanding for your camper van asked you to move off the grass with your vehicle as heavy rain was due. The pitch is really popular as it has great views. We close in a few weeks for the winter where we get the opportunity to reseed and repair pitches after what has been a really busy season for us this year.

A aimé The shower facilities were virtually brand new and 20p for 4 minutes an absolute bargain. First time using an electric hookup and a godsend on Saturday afternoon for drying out in front of the heater A lovely walk along the Lym into Lyme Regis which was buzzing on the Saturday. Thanks for a lovely short break,you might see us again!!!!

N'a pas aimé The weather was absolutely atrocious while we were pitching which was out of anyones control. Pitch (83) wasn’t the best,very uneven in places but adequate for our size of tent.

A aimé Mooie grote plek alleen voor tenten bovenaan de camping met uitzicht over het dal. Goede wifi, schone wc’s en douches, winkel met kleine voorraad.

A aimé Nous n'avons passé qu'une nuit à Hook Farm Campsite et l'avons presque regretté tant ce camping est superbe. Les emplacements sont vraiment bien pensés, offrant de l'espace, de l'intimité et de belles vues.
Les sanitaires sont top et super propres.
L'accueil est professionnel et sympathique et la petite boutique est bien pratique pour compléter le contenu des placards quand on arrive un peu tard.
Et le Wifi fonctionne parfaitement (... ce qui a permis la seule soirée Netflix de tout notre road trip ;-)) !

N'a pas aimé On aurait aimé une aire de jeux pour les enfants mais peut-être qu'on ne l'a tout simplement pas vue, compte tenu de la brièveté de notre séjour.

A aimé Well kept and maintained site with great sized, level pitches. Clean toilets and showers. Large site but still felt intimate as pitches were spaced out and on different levels/tree lined spaces. Power showers with hot water. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Useful and well stocked shop on site. Pretty location.

N'a pas aimé Nothing to dislike about this site. We would use it again.

A aimé Excellent service from owners - cheery, charming/ happy and welcoming.
Very well maintained and excellent facilities. Super setting and away from the crowds of central Lyme Regis.
