A aimé Absolutely wonderful stay at Cliff House.
It was my first visit to this site and it is very spacious and clean.
The staff were all so polite and welcoming.
The pitches were a good size and the site is well maintained.
The shower/toilet blocks were spotless with the added bonus of a hairdryer.
Direct access to the beach was a bonus, although if you have mobility issues then it may be difficult for you to get down the steep steps.
The 12 lost churches bar/bistro/restaurant was great, the food served were large portion sizes, would have liked to have seen a few more small plate options but the food was good.
The bar area has a great play area for children which doesn’t pose a noise problem for diners as it’s in the outside area.
Will definitely be back for another visit!

Toilet blocks were clean

N'a pas aimé Warden is very nosey and quick to tell u off.
We had the worst pitch, right behind the
Office, we had members of staff telling someone clearly they had a rowe with there whole life story, woken at 8.30 by banging noises like sheet of metal.
people shouting and kids banging balls against the fence behind our caravan.
WiFi was awful
Pub prices were very high £19 For burger and chips.
Black flies constantly round the caravan and our van when the sun was out which was 80% of our visit, couldn’t sit outside to enjoy the winter sun.

A aimé Fabulous site, all amenities , very clean and well maintained and a fabulous location next to the beach but also right in the heath...right by RSPB Minsmere too... Dunwich is lovely

N'a pas aimé It was end if season and they were running kitchen down, so not many waiting staff and lots of options not available, but what was there was nice and the few staff worked hard. It would have been good to know what to expect.

N'a pas aimé Very difficult to navigate the site in the dark when we arrived.
Cold showers on the first morning (sorted out promptly - was due to pilot light going out).

A aimé Great pitch with electricity close by. Lots of tree shade from wind and sun. It was great having the onsite bar with 2 local ales on tap. Beach access was great and a lovely walk towards Southwold (great cafe about 45 mins walk along the beach. Good toilet and washing up facilities for touring.

N'a pas aimé There's very weak/sporadic phone signal and the wifi is only really available at reception so make sure you've downloaded everything you need before you arrive.

A aimé It was my first time camping with my children and we loved it! Great that it had on site amenities like park, restaurant, showers, toilets, and the sea is right there, which was lovely. Highly recommend to anyone!

Great restaurant bar on site
We asked for a pitch not under tree if possible and they catered brilliantly
