A aimé The site is wonderfully clean, very well maintained and the staff very helpful. I arrived slightly early after a very long drive and they accommodated me and my young son which they didn’t have to do. I would definitely stay at this site again. I love that there is a wide variety of accommodation available.

A aimé first time solo camper had a grass with electric pitch everything was clean and tidy and well organised the facilities free wifi even a fridge freezer to store items ill be booking again in the next month for a return trip

We really appreciate your observation about a club bar, too. To give you a little background, our park was actually built with a mission to bring regeneration to our lovely local town. Because of this, we purposely choose not to have an on-site bar or restaurant so that we can encourage our guests to visit, support, and breathe life into the wonderful local pubs, cafes, and businesses just down the road.

N'a pas aimé Arrived to pitch 13 to find we had to stay on a terrible slope. No mention of this on the website or when booking. Pitches 1-4 seem flat but all others 5-14 are on terrible slopes. No good for large motorhomes. Steer clear of pitch 5 it’s located right next to the bins.

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for your feedback. While we note your comments regarding the gradient of the pitches, we must address the manner in which this was handled.

Our receptionist politely invited you into the office so we could discuss your concerns and provide a solution. Instead, you chose to scream at our staff member over the phone and refused to meet with us. We do not tolerate the abuse of our team under any circumstances.

Had you come to reception as requested, we would have been happy to inform you that we keep levelling ramps on-site for guests who do not have their own, which easily resolve the slight slope on pitches 5–13. We always aim to help our guests have an enjoyable stay, but we expect our staff to be treated with respect in return.

A aimé Facilities were fantastic, the area was lovely and peaceful. Views were lovely. Exactly what we needed to come back to after a long day out with our dogs.
Communication via email etc was great also.

N'a pas aimé The caravan pitch i was situated in was tight to get caravan reversed in and on a wee bit of a slope, would say was more for a campervan but apart from that was brilliant

We appreciate your feedback regarding the pitch. For future reference, that particular pitch is actually accessible from both sides, meaning you can drive right in head-first if required, which completely removes the need for any tricky reversing!

A aimé The location and site are ideal for a quiet break. Very clean and tidy and the staff were very nice

N'a pas aimé I believe the site would benefit with a restaurant or even a snack bar/van to provide food for tourers as the village has few places to sit in for food, there is however, a couple of takeaway places

Réponse du gestionnaire : Thank you for your feedback. We are glad to hear that you found our campsite lovely, but we are very sorry to learn that the condition of the toilet and shower facilities fell short during your stay.

To ensure our facilities stay fresh, our team cleans and checks the amenity block twice daily. We also leave mops available for guests to tidy up after themselves after using the showers—though sadly, not all guests do this.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention, as it helps us monitor busy periods more closely. We hope to welcome you back for a much improved experience in the future.

A aimé The site was good, clean, the playground for the kids was really nice. The amenities were great, clean and the added bonus was the fridges and freezers.

N'a pas aimé The ground was really hard, and we struggled a bit to peg our tent, luckily we had hard ground tent pegs.
