Berries Farm Camping

A aimé Absolutely stunning scenery. We loved camping at Berries and will definitely be back. Very, very clean campsite. Toilet and shower blocks are so clean and hot water whenever you need it. Plots are nice and big. Daisy, who runs the campsite, couldn't have been more helpful and really great communication. Its really easy to get to the campsite and even though it's by the road it's very private and by the time there's any noise of cars you're already up and enjoying the stunning views and fresh air across the valley. Shame it's only open for two months.

Communication was excellent.
Showers and toilets are an excellent example of don’t judge a book by its cover… showers were lovely and warm and loads of space in the cubicle to yourself to get ready - you don’t even get that when somewhere states they have ‘proper shower block’. View was lovely. We were really happy here.

A aimé Amazing view. Good location from Charmouth and Lyme Regis. Ease of booking and communication with host.

N'a pas aimé Small, cramped toilets. Not enough toilets for busy site. Showers and toilets are in temporary trailers so not an enjoyable experience. Electric hook up sites are very close to each other.

A aimé Simple easy camping, clean toilets and showers, everything well maintained. We had no issues and it was an easy stay!

N'a pas aimé Would be good to have a water tap the other of the site, and also a pedestrian gate to the main bins (the farm gate is very heavy on its hinges)

A aimé We booked last minute via pitch-up for the bank holiday weekend. We booked knowing it was a simple site with great views. It didn’t disappoint. Daisy was super quick to respond via WhatsApp with details for our arrival - she also went above and beyond getting us a flat pitch which, given the slope of the field we were very grateful for. Daisy wants everyone to have a good stay so never over books the site.

The walk down to Lyme was an adventure and a wonderful way to arrive into the town - via the artistic mill area. The seafront was busy with a fun vibe. We loved our hike towards Seaton (the lower path had incredible views) and our swim was fantastic made better with fresh water taps to rinse before a yummy dinner at Swim and a wander back up to our pitch. It’s a long way but we needed it after overindulging. Showers were hot and plentiful and bathrooms always clean with lovely smelling soap.

Bridport - St Michael’s antiques, Badger and Moose cafe followed by a West Bay wander, Slaters cafe and art gallery and then the Anchor in Seatown and the Royal Oak in Charmouth - all kept us out of the rain brilliantly.

Lovely views. Showers and toilets were very clean.

N'a pas aimé There was a main road by the campsite and cars were going by until the early hours. A lady a couple of pitches away had an annoying yappy dog that would bark whenever it felt like it…especially if you walked by to the toilet/showers.
Obviously this is not the fault of the campsite owners so no blame attached to them.

A aimé This was a great campsite, very basic but did everything well. Very clean, everything worked very well and the views are great.
