A aimé This site is nice, not too big and pitches are generous. Everyone staying was nice and friendly. Toilet and showers are a good standard and the water was a great temperature. They are cleaned regularly and were spotless. Reception staff are welcoming and very helpful. Lovely walk around the lake for our dogs. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely return again soon.

N'a pas aimé Hand dryer in the shower/toilet block is not very effective. Nowhere to put your toiletries in the shower cubicles other than floor. A couple of hairdryers in the block would be helpful. As previously mentioned by someone else the seasonal pitches are the not the most attractive and put us off when we arrived. It’s a shame as it’s a lovely little spot overlooking the water. Disappointing that dogs are not allowed in the cafe as we would have eaten in there on a couple occasions as it was too cold to sit outside.

We're sorry that our restaurant's dog policy meant you weren't able to enjoy it during the colder weather. While assistance dogs are permitted indoors, we do currently restrict other dogs inside the restaurant. We do, however, welcome dogs in our outdoor seating areas whenever the weather allows.

In the meantime, there are several supermarkets just a few minutes away, and our Corner5 Restaurant & Bar is available on-site for food and drinks.

A aimé Reception staff were fantastic, as were all the activity staff i spoke too. Very informative and helpful.

Activities all looked brilliant, we did the inflatable aqua park. I have been on better and worse but this one caters for all ages which i think is a great families. The football golf was also fun and takes you through a nice woodland area, it definitely got the thumbs up from a footy mad 12 yr old.

Pitches are a good size too. Shower and toilet block are also good. Again stayed where they are better and worse.

Looking forward to seeing you again this summer to try out wake boarding for the first time!

A future dislike, in 5yrs universal studios will be just down the road, so good luck getting in this site. May be offer loyalty points and hold some pitches back for old time customers on last min bookings.

Paying for wifi but alot of sites do this now, it’s just always a bonus when it free.

Thank you for your feedback regarding Wi-Fi. We do offer free campsite Wi-Fi, which is ideal for messaging and general browsing. For guests who require faster speeds for streaming or more intensive use, premium Wi-Fi packages are available to purchase from reception.

We're very excited about the opportunities that Universal Studios will bring to the area and are already looking at ways to expand and enhance our offering for future visitors. We certainly hope you'll remain one of our valued regular guests!

A aimé absolutely loved our stay , beautiful pitches wonderful views, lovely clean amenities.

N'a pas aimé felt second class in the restaurant, as we had dogs 2 small sausage dogs, had to sit away from the restaurant and have taken away boxes in the rain, served from a window !
limited menu which was extremely expensive.
if we come again would not use the eating facility again.

We're sorry to hear that your experience with our restaurant did not meet your expectations. We certainly never want any guest to feel this way.

Unfortunately, dogs are not currently permitted inside the restaurant, so we offer takeaway service and outdoor seating for guests visiting with their pets. We appreciate that the weather can make this less than ideal, and we understand your frustration. We also have our outdoors Cable Cafe located nearer to the Aqua Park which offers food & drink and outdoors seating, with a large number of benches beneath a covered benched area.

Just to help clarify for future guests, we do have both grey waste and chemical disposal facilities available for motorhomes. Although it isn’t a drive-over point, there is a dedicated disposal area where containers can be wheeled or carried over and emptied easily.

We include details about this in our booking information, campsite pack and brochure so guests can see exactly what facilities are available before arriving.
