Me gustó Very well maintained and perfect location to walk to New borough Forest and Llanddwyn. Owners kindly let us in before check-in when we arrived early that was very much appreciated.

Me gustó Showers maybe, if I had used them.
The view, if I was in a tent and not in a camper.

No me gustó The price for having to pitch up in a car park. Which is where campervans have to go, along with everybody's vehicles.

Del administrador: Ian, thank you for taking time to provide us with feedback regarding your recent stay with us. I am sorry to hear that you felt the site was unsuitable for you. With respect to the comment regarding the site being a car park along with everybody’s vehicles, I’m afraid I do not understand what this means. The site is comprised of 5 pitches, minimum of 8m x 8m in size all marked out and delineated by fencing and hedging between each pitch. All of the pitches are gravel hardstanding, so have assumed that a dissatisfaction of this type of surface is what is meant by a ‘car park’?

Most of all, I have to admit that I am surprised by the feedback regarding the view from your pitch. I believe the reviews of other guests along with their photos uploaded to Pitchup speak for themselves – the view of the mountains is generally the biggest talking point of a guest stay and it is the feature about which we receive the most positive response. It was the view that actually convinced us to open the site just 12 months ago – owners of campervans and motorhomes visiting the café eventually talked us in to opening the site, many saying they would stay just for the view of Snowdonia alone. (In that the mountain range dominates the landscape that can be seen from the site and would be a joy to wake up to and enjoy during the day). So to hear that you feel the view is unsatisfactory to you is somewhat disappointing. I’m also not sure why you believe the view would be more suited to a tent? (note, we are not licensed to accept tents).

Finally, as an additional note with respect to site facilities, I must highlight to those reading this review that this site does not have showers (but does have 24 hour toilet facilities). This leads me to the observation on reading other reviews that this particular reviewer has submitted to Pitchup, that I did notice disappointing stays and lower review scores are a regular feature. I can therefore only echo what other sites have said in reply to this reviewer by encouraging the reading of descriptions of features and facilities and the looking through of photos on Pitchup before making a booking.

Me gustó Great little sight with fantastic views. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The cafe food was good in the main with the exception of one dish, which was replaced by something different. The evening pizza delivery was a great touch and the pizza was excellent.

Me gustó The usual friendly, attitude from our hosts, quiet friendly camp site. It's becoming a home from home for us. We broke down on the way there and a quick call to Nick informing him of our late arrival sorted it out.

Me gustó A nice gravel 5 pitches with benches. Picnic area and an information shed with map of Angelsey. Washing area with hot water,grey and chemical points undercover and very clean.On site cafe is open from Sat to Wed.Site near road but very quiet from 8pm.

Me gustó We really enjoyed it all, really welcoming and essential facilities done really well. Calm and peaceful and generous pitches. Lots of useful information in the “fun shed”! We really enjoyed our Pizza which our host delivered to our van door outside of cafe hours! A great base to explore the island and hills! The view of the mountains doesn’t disappoint!

Amazing access to the beach!

No me gustó Only draw back is sharing the toilets with the Cafe in opening hours however, opening hours are 10-3 which gives you plenty of time to use it.

Me gustó Very clean , Fablious reception, great small site , when greeted the cafe was reopened to allow us an ice cream .. safe secure and quiet
