Ik was blij met A quite small site, lovely people working there, very accommodating. The whistle stop cafe on the site which is open to the public. Is a lovely small cafe and ample outside seating space , had a lovely cream tea and the scone was straight out of the oven. It was amazing in my opinion.

Ik was niet blij met The road right next to the site is a very long straight two lane country road. So you do get a few cars driving fast down it. But not late ,so it didn't spoil mine and my autistic stepson stay.

Ik was niet blij met Noise from tractors beebing at the chicken farm across the field.
Also the smell emanating from the farm at certain times .

Ik was blij met Very friendly. Large pitches. Great location, just a 25 min walk to the stepping stone and only a couple of miles to the beautiful beach.

Ik was blij met Excellent access and a thoroughly well thought out site. Adjacent cafe if that's important to you - also one a couple of hundred yards down the road, if the site one was shut. Really appreciated the perfectly flat pitches and the fact that electrical hook-up was available, but was entirely optional. Superb views out towards Eryri across the straits. Nick gave an excellent introduction to the site on arrival, and explained the layout and the facilities. Easy walking distance to the Afon Braint stepping stones, Newborough and Newborough beach and the Warren.

Ik was niet blij met Not much! The chicken farm down the road could be a tad "aromatic" if the wind was in the wrong direction. During our stay, this was almost never.

Ik was blij met Location is great for touring around Anglesey. Only 10 mins drive to Newborough Forest/beach. Staff very friendly and helpful. We would return.

Ik was blij met The intimate pitches with a grassed area to sit at and enjoy the stunning scenery and sunsets. The camp site has everything we needed and was perfect for one nights stay. Could have quite easily stayed another day if we had time. Very good set up and thoroughly enjoyed are walk in to newborough forest/beach

Ik was blij met Lovely welcome from Nick. Site beautifully kept. Had everything I needed. Just up the road from Plas Newydd NT stately home which is what I was looking for. Close to Road but only
Slight noise. Great view of Snowdonia.
Shame cafe only opens weekends.
Nick explained why.
Felt very safe

Ik was blij met Lovely clean pretty well set up cl. Nick the host was so lovely. I booked the wrong dates so turned up 3 weeks early! He did everything he could and managed to transfer dates. He shows you round site and answers any questions.

Ik was niet blij met Nothing. No showers but we knew that when booking. The cafe only open weekends but not a slur for the campsite.

Ik was blij met Communal bbq which can not be used . Bucket which you are welcome to use .

Ik was niet blij met It felt like gentleman from the cafe who checked as in discriminates women and foreigners . He was acting very odd and unpleasant . He insisted to talk to my partner ( who is British ) and repeatedly asking to bring my partner to “ translate “ because there is “ language barrier “ ( while showing me how to open toilet and gate :D ….) When I said “ I understand you perfectly , bloody hell - I have been only 20 years in this country , working in compliance “ he started to act very strange saying “ don’t swear at me Madam etc …” I wasn’t swearing or shouting but I still apologised and said I did not want to upset him ! He still was acting very unpleasant, left key and walked away . Did not feel very welcomed so we left strait away .

Van de manager: Dominika, I’m sorry that neither the site nor its staff met your expectations. For us, it was the discovery that there was no bar on site was the initial trigger for your frustration. The out of hours delivery arrangements of alcohol and food to your van from the licensed cafe was subsequently explained, but this did not help calm the situation (hence the request to introduce your partner to the conversation, as we were standing near to your van). Given the level of difficulty we had with describing things to you, I'm sorry that you took offence to later being asked if a language barrier had added to your frustration; the offence was certainly not intended. Whilst we thanked you for the apology for your behaviour at the time, we believe staff are not here to be shouted at. Introducing swearing when handing over the gate key was also not appreciated, hence the request to you about this.

Ik was blij met Location (for me, decent walk to Newborough beach, but could be a little isolated for some)

Small, and so only 4 neighbours at most.

Ik was niet blij met No shower facilities. (Would be a worthy addition)
Limited opening of the cafe. Weekends only I believe... although the Y Marram bar/restaurant is only 5 min walk away and it is very nice!
