Bryn Bach Caravan and Camping Site

Me gustó We stayed from Friday evening until Sunday and it was a lovely stay! The site is really friendly and has everything that you need. Park for the children and a little shop that has everything that you might need. The toilet and shower facilities are clean and always tidy. We would highly recommend people booking and would 100% book again if we visit Abersoch in the future.

Me gustó Absolutely everything - checking in was super friendly and easy, pitch was lovely with amazing views and I could easily see the play area for my little boy - bonus! I have to mention that the service on site was second to none. My little boy had an accident on the beach and needed first aid assistance which was administered quickly by the site owners, who...were beyond helpful, extremely patient and very, very kind. (My little boy actually broke his finger and required surgery a few days later) I stayed just myself (single mum) and my little boy (6) for 2 nights, and we would absolutely recommend! His favourite aspect was the shop, I cannot lie, but everything was fantastic. Washing up area, toilets, showers - everything!!

Me gustó Very friendly site manager who was very accommodating trying to arrange a different field for us to stay in on arrival,
Shop was very good,
Laundry room,
Liked the toilet and shower in same room,
Very clean facilities, and grass kept nice, lovely play park for the children,
Very nice view from site,
Lovely walk to Abersoch town down through the beach or Golf course
Also a lovely walk down to Ceiriad beach in the other direction

No me gustó Not enough toilets to accommodate the amount of campers, periodically waited for a toilet to be free in both facilities blocks. Showers were hit and miss in the one block, either too hot or cold.
We stayed in the electric field but in the middle (non hook up section) it was over crowded. We felt we were too close to our neighbour and felt we needed to apologise for being too close to them and blocking their view, and the following camper felt he needed to apologise to us for being too close also. One tent was about 7/8 foot from us and he was about 6 foot from the next! Certainly don't practice their fire break rule as stated on their notice board, bearing in mind the manager showed us all to our pitches and told us where to pitch. We felt penned in and left a day early.

We are sorry you felt the site was overcrowded. A tent should be 6 metres from their neighbours’ tent wall (not inc guy ropes)

Grounds Well maintained.
Overall very good site.

No me gustó There is nothing I dislike.
Freeze for ice packs could be defrosted. A fridge could be added for campers to put milk in and butter.

The second shower block could be cleaned and disinfected as not always clean.

Me gustó Good location. Handy shop for some essentials. Decent indoor washing up area with plugs and washing up liquid. Toilet, sink and shower in each bathroom I. The block nearest the camping field.

No me gustó Sloping field. Rubbish bins were a walk back to entrance. The field could do with some. The pitches were pretty close for electric hook up. I personally felt the huge tent next to me filled their space and when they rated up talking and playing g music beyond 10 (which is quiet time according to the T’s and c’s) every word could be heard. That said I did not make comment to the management who seemed to know the campers personally or from previous visits.
The showers were a bit temperamental with temperature and the push button lasted all of 5secs.

The bins are located near the site entrance due to the wagon not being able to get down to the camping field. We also believe this is the best location due to potential early morning collection noise, we don’t want the sound of the glass bin being lifted to disturb those sleeping.
We have push buttons on the showers because it stops them accidentally being left on.
Should we receive noise complaints, we respond immediately so we are sorry you didn’t inform us of any noise beyond 10pm.

Me gustó The Back-to-nature pitches were excellent. Huge amounts of room with very few pitches in the field.
