Sunnyhill Park and Campsite

Me gustó Located just outside wincanton, I was initially worried it was going to be noisy being close to the A303 however you turn off the road around 5-10 minute drive and you are greeted with the driveway and what looks like the pub.
I was met quickly by the owner and was offered a choice of hardstanding pitch and the view from the van was just the valley in front of you.

The shower facilities were clean and tidy and a nice well tendered garden outside, all round a lovely location and very quiet other than the cockerel providing the complementary wake up call.. phone signal was also very good making it possible to get some work done, I was staying close for work and would definitely stay again next time I need a stop in the area.

Me gustó Beautiful location, super friendly accommodating folks. Great food and drinks served too! Women’s toilets and showers good.

Me gustó Vielen für die freundliche Aufnahme. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.Alles sehr liebevoll gemacht.Sanitäre Anlagen sehr sauber. Alles sehr unkompliziert.

No me gustó Leider kann man nicht so ohne weiteres direkt vom Campingplatz wandern gehen.

Also I feel to take 8 points from me for the fact that you have not been able to understand the folder with all the information in and QR codes in for the walks and so stated something about the site which is completely untrue is an abuse of the scoring system of pitched up

Me gustó Great views and friendly owner.
We walked across the fields to Wincanton up hills. (Wear sensible footwear)
Site has a rustic charm If you like a regimented site this is not the site for you.
Able to have a fire pit, wood purchased on site.
We stayed with a group of friends.

Me gustó Clean, views amazing . Manager Very caring and pleasant, nothing too much trouble, she opened the bar to get me a cider.

No me gustó Only downside were the Cockerels who spent the whole night talking to each other.

Me gustó Great place on top of a beautifull hill. Friendly owner. Clean sanitary facilities, with a personal handcrafted touch, great! Nice pitches with a private picknick table.

Me gustó The warm welcome.
The friendly cafe service and delicious burgers.
The beautiful view.
Facilities to wash up pots and pans.
Toilet waste disposal facilities.

No me gustó The shower block lights on a short timer that automatically turned out whilst having a shower and the power cut. One of the two male showers only had little more than a dribble coming out. Issues that need solving.
Neighbouring campers talking loudly and laughing till 3am around the fire. A quiet after midnight rule needs to be enforced.

The qiet time is actually 10pm unless music night so my apologies if someone disregarded this

As for the shower yes ....the timer has been reported before although I thought I jad extended the timer, also as on a sensor shouldn't go out if movement?....the dribbling shower issue...happens regularly as our water is so hard here. I means I need to soak shower heads in white vinegar weekly ....so my apologies if you got a dribbly shower head. It wasn't reported to me during your stay but I did discover the one on the right was doing it on my checks
