Me gustó Friendly, welcoming, very helpful staff onsite, nearby in the Red Lion Pub. The pub itself offering food until 8.45pm, really handy if you're late back from a day hiking and its too late to set up camp bbq (which happened to us).
Location is super close to attractions, Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Corfe Castle, and only a drive to Weymouth and the Isle of Portland all of which we explored during our 2 day camping trip to South Dorset.
The campsite has all the basics you need, multiple toilet/shower rooms, wash up sink, on staff on hand most of the day due to the pub onsite. It was a windy weekend so I requested during the booking process to be in a sheltered pitch and the pub owner confirmed on arrival a pitch as we requested. As it was October, we were the only ones there for the 2nd night of our stay so we had the toilets/showers to ourselves.
There is so much to see in South Dorset, that we would definitely return to the Red Lion camp site!

Me gustó toilets were clean and well maintained , the pitch and surrounding area were walls clean and maintained well . lovely warm showers . the staff were extremely helpful and joyful . the food was amazing - definitely have the burger !

In terms of lighting, two of the three toilet blocks have electrical lighting and the third has solar lighting; this can at times - especially when it is cloudy - run out of battery power. We do like to keep the lighting appropriate to the countryside allowing campers to enjoy the stars without lights beaming across the campsite. We look forward to seeing you back in the future.

Me gustó Great location, set behind lovely pub with great staff (Alan and Karen who were standing in for their daughter). Excellent evening meal and breakfast at reasonable prices. Great welcome on arrival with good information and a 10% discount on anything bought in pub. Good selection of beers and wine.
