Понравилось Quick & easy access and check-in, good size pitches and facilities; really friendly team - great team for dinner service considering they were super busy (which is also great to see); lovely food, good prices.

Не понравилось Breakfast was slightly chaotic - was a big event happening that day & think they underestimated how many would come for breakfast; we were lucky as we were up early - they did run out of several breakfast items on the cooked brekkie.

Не понравилось Toilet/shower facilities very poor. Not enough toilets/showers for size of site, and poor quality. Confusing door codes and questionable cleaning.

От менеджера: Thank you for taking the trouble to leave feedback and we are pleased you enjoyed both the pub and the pub food and found the site nice and tidy. There are 2 shower blocks (as indicated on the Campsite Arrival Map) providing 4 showers in total aligned to the AA 3* requirements. At check-in we do also invite campers to use the pub toilets during pub opening times. The toilets and showers are cleaned and reviewed on a regular basis and noting that they can become busy during the ‘rush hours’ we do ask if there are any issues that these are brought to the attention of the pub staff so that they can be addressed in a timely manner. The door codes are used to deter those passing by from simply parking up and using the toilets and showers to the inconvenience of our guests; we have found having door codes to be particularly effective in stopping this practice. In terms of pitch cost, you booked an electrical pitch. Unfortunately for the electrical hook ups we pay higher commercial rates of electricity that attract a 20% rate of VAT. I am sure you would join us in the campaign to reduce the VAT rate on hospitality, which of course can then be passed onto our guests. I do hope this provides some clarity to your feedback.

Close proximity to the play park in the next field.
Really accessible local bus routes.

Не понравилось Showers could use a little TLC.
I had to reattch one shower door when I walked in, but no big deal.

We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and the children enjoyed the play park - the Parish Council have recently refurbished it. The showers are checked on a regular basis and we do ask if there are any issues that the staff in the pub are informed but thank you for putting the door back on its runners. We hope to see you all again at some point in the future.

There must be some confusion; I do not know why you had to sleep in the car park as the campsite is accessible after10.00pm to campers who have checked-in. I am afraid the signal for some mobile phone providers is not very good in the more country parts of Dorset but the pub does offer complimentary WiFi that can be used by campers. Pitches near parking very loud, as folks sitting in their car listening to loud music half the night, road traffic very loud, swaped pitches for the second night.
Waste depot is a huge mess

The pub is a traditional coaching inn and as such is at the hub of the local country road network. Whilst this has the great advantage of enabling easy access to local attractions, as you say the roads can at times be busy. There are 2 shower blocks (as indicated on the Campsite Arrival Map) providing 4 showers in total. At check-in we do also invite campers to use the pub toilets during pub opening times. The toilets and showers are cleaned and reviewed on a regular basis and noting that they can become busy during the ‘rush hours’ we do ask if there are any issues that these are brought to the attention of the pub staff so that they can be addressed in a timely manner. We also ask that campers do not dispense of their used camping equipment in the rubbish skips as, despite the efforts of staff to redistribute the rubbish, this quickly fills them up. In terms of cost you did book an electrical pitch. Unfortunately for the electrical hook ups we pay higher commercial rates of electricity that also attract a 20% rate of VAT. Понравилось Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were good and having the pub right there for food and drinks was very convenient. Was easy to find and just a short drive away from the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Whilst this ahs the advantage of enabling easy access to local attractions, the roads can at times be noisy. There are 2 shower blocks (as indicated on the Campsite Arrival Map) providing 4 showers in total; you have not left the detail of what needs fixing but I understand that a wheel had come off one of the shower screens and this has been fixed. I hope this provides clarity to your feedback and we look forward to seeing you in the future.

Понравилось The location was great, very close to durdle door etc.

Easy check in and affordable price

Не понравилось A few issues only one washing up sink, limited toilets and showers for the amount of campers. Food In the pub for breakfast took over an hour to come with a relatively quiet pub. The coffee that came had clumpy milk that looked gone off, and the drinks took 30 minutes to come. The young lad who worked at the bar was lovely very helpful and apologetic.
