Good location near Lulworth Cove/Durdle Door,…
Corner primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Good location near Lulworth Cove/Durdle Door, direct bus stops two minutes away
Nice country pub
Facilities were fine
Disliked A bit noisy next to the main road.
The pub stopped serving dinner earlier than advertised and had run out of some breakfast items in the morning. Hoping this is a one off ordering mistake as the breakfast we did was lovely.

Decent stopover adjoining a good pub, but not great for a longer stay.
Primitive cement/asphalt RV campsite
Liked Well signed access with easy turn in off a busy road
Level, well maintained pitch with a little shade.
Showers and toilets nicely cleaned.
Pitch was available at short notice on one of the busiest w/ends of the year.
Nice footpath walk to Winfrith Newburgh.
The pub was excellent.
Disliked Slightly off-hand booking-in at the pub bar.
Irritatingly awkward gate to the field; very difficult to unlatch.
Rather rustic shower cubicles - the one I used had a broken screen.

Lovely little site
Corner primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked The open field and clean facilities. Didn’t try the pub as only stayed one night, it did look nice.
Disliked The fact you have to put a code to get in loo’s and showers and they don’t work all the time.

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave a review. Sorry we din't see you in the pub! The toilet code pads can be a bit fiddly but this prevents passers by from the beach using the facilities and causing long queues. Not sure what you mean by the toilets and showers not working. This was not brought to our attention but I'll ask the team to go out and have a look. We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and we look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

Best place to stay over night,…
Primitive cement/asphalt RV campsite
Liked Best place to stay over night, great pitching area and in general not far from the coast. The pub right next to the pitches is also just spectacular with a wide range of Beers and Ciders, and wide range of food.

Pub Beer was great…

Disliked Toilets & Showers Poor

From the manager: Thank you for taking the time and trouble to leave a review. I am not sure the context of your observation on the toilets and showers but there are a total of 4 unisex showers available on a 24-hour basis in two separate blocks. In this respect the campsite is therefore aligned to the AA 3* standard of one shower per gender per 35 pitches. In terms of toilets we have 3 unisex toilets available on a 24 hour basis and we also invite campers to use the pub toilets when the pub is open, these being able to be accessed without going through the main pub area. The toilets and showers are cleaned on a regular basis, though during peak 'rush hour' timings they can become busy. That said we do ask for any issues to be identified to the bar staff so that they can be fixed in a timely manner. I hope this helps provide clarity and we look forward to welcoming you back at some point in the future.
