Me gustó: Small campsite and was not busy
Secure for children to explore by themselves (age appropriate)
2 toilets and a shower cleaned regularly
Although it was raining prior to arrival and during one of the nights the ground was neither soaked nor muddy
Sink with drinking water and to do the washing up

No me gustó: Only one sink, which if it is busy might cause queues. But was not too busy so it was not a problem.

Me gustó: The owner and family were just lovely- so friendly and even though the campsite is on a working farm, they made every effort to spend time talking to us, and letting the kids pet the small animals in the playbarn (their highlight of the stay!)
We loved the onsite cafe and farm shop and the fact everything is local and family run. The campsite is one field with basic toilets and showers but this is all we needed!
Highly recommend and would definitely visit again

Me gustó: Wonderful stay! Ed and family really made our trip exceptional, getting the animals out for the kids to hold and stroke. Quiet site but with plenty for the kids to do, really family friendly.

Me gustó: The campsite was perfectly located in the South Downs National Park. It was great that you had lots of room in your pitch and the onsite shop was lovely. All the food we bought from there was fantastic and everyone that helped us on site was great too. The animals were very friendly too.

No me gustó: Ther was only one shower each. However this wasn't a problem at all for a weekend of camping.

Me gustó: The family who owned the farm were so friendly and helpful, we’d love to go back again. Site was clean and also being on a farm it was a great adventure for my young children, getting up close and personal with the animals was brilliant! Plus the coffee at their cafe was delicious :)

Me gustó: Where do I start - this was the loveliest unique camping trip .. Ed was very welcoming, as were all of his lovely family.

Camping in a farm, sharing a field with Trevor the turkey, cows donkeys and goats in the surrounding fields who came up to the fences to say hello was very special. Our two boys (both neurodiverse) absolutely loved camping here, they got to interact with the animals. Ed (the farmer) let them feed the goats and let them pet the bunny rabbits. We all enjoyed watching the farm being run.
The play barn was a great extension to the stay - our boys loved climbing on the hay and playing on the ride on toys, as well as digging in the big sandpit. A free addition for all camping visitors, and lovely to have private access once the farm was closed to the public.

The campsite is not over crowded at all - only allows 12 (I think I’ve remembered correctly) tents which is a great amount for the big field area .. the space is brilliant.

The toilets were clean and any problems (someone had blocked one of the loos with too much toilet paper) were quickly sorted. The shower was hot and the pressure of the water was good. The only time it dipped a little was when someone else was showering or washing up at the same time. But not a big problem at all, still plenty of pressure.

The onsite cafe is definitely worth a visit - Katy and her staff (family) are very welcoming. The home made cakes are delicious and the local fresh pear juice is lovely - we bought a couple of bottles to take home. We also bought fresh sausages from the onsite butchers .. they were really yummy. There is a variety of different flavour sausages. We bought a selection and our favourite was the marmite and cheese ones.

This is an amazing family run farm and the campsite was brilliant. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for having us and making us feel so welcome !!
