A brilliant family campsite
Primitive grass and earth tent campsite
Liked Such a great campsite. The owner was very friendly. You’re allowed to go see all the animals and so many things for the kids to do like playing in the indoor sand Pitt and indoor barn play area.
It wasn’t over crowded either so lots of room to play games and build fires. You can hire fire pits there and buy the logs ect.. we will definitely be back.
Disliked The shower was lovely and warm but only down side is there was only two toilets and one shower per sex. Could do with a few more.

Primitive grass and earth tent campsite
Liked Friendly farmer. All was as described i.e Basic. Nice useful cafe on site which does coffees and cooked food. There is a butcher on site. Nice farm available to be visited, which is perfect for younger kids. I also liked the fact that WiFi on my phone was working. The earth pitch was flat. As others have mentioned, the showers didn't have hot water but I love a cold invigorating shower so I didn't mind personally, although no one else in my group was as brave!! We also found some walking trails around the corner, and walked all the way to the Butterfly Gardens. Nice memories made. Less than 5 minutes' drive into Burgess Hill if you need to stock up on anything.

Liked Lovely place to camp ☺️. The owners were very laid back, you can choose on the field where to pitch your tent. Lots of space. There was a lovely young lad who was working in the farm who got some of the baby animals out for the kids to stroke which was really nice. We messaged the owner at about 8pm and asked to buy some firewood & he met us at the farm shop within 5mins which was great.
Disliked The shower was cold but that was the only thing. Everything else was great 👌

Liked We liked the friendly welcome. We were also able to order fresh produce on saturday which we picked up from the shop on Sunday morning.
There was plenty to keep our grandchildren occupied.. A play barn, soft play, large sandpit and lots of animals to see.
Plenty of space to pitch up on level ground and toilets close by.
Disliked No hot water available at the time but farmer kindly offered use of the farmhouse facilities

Relaxed site with basic facilities ideal for overnight or weekend.
Primitive grass and earth tent campsite
Liked It was very friendly and relaxed, the owner came and said hello, said what's where etc.
On the weekend we stayed, it was quite quiet due I suspect to the expected stormy weather on the Friday night - the owner said if it was bad we could move our tent into one of the barns. Sadly the forecast was correct but the reason for going was to see if the tent was still ok not having been used for a while, so we rode out the⚡💦.
Disliked The basic facilities though clean, lacked any hot water during our stay, otherwise nothing to dislike.

Primitive grass and earth tent campsite
Liked Very friendly family that own the farm, cafe and small campsite. They made a point of checking that everything was ok when we arrived and when storms were on the horizon, even offered us a barn to sleep in!
Quiet field, beautiful scenery and when we were there, there weren't many other campers, which was nice. Cafe serves lovely cakes and coffee and shop has some amazing local produce. We highly recommend the local meats and the pear juice!
Toilet facilities were fine, considering there were so few other campers and the only reason that we aren't giving 10 stars is because the shower only had cold water.
Would highly recommend this campsite and farm. We will be back!
