Lunesdale Escapes

Me gustó: Such a nice place to stay. The toilets/showers are clean and warm. We stayed with our children and small dog in one of the beautifully decorated bell tends with lots of inside and outside space. Perfect distance from your neighbours. Kettle, heater, bedding, fridge, bbq/fireplace everything there. We loved it and will come back!

No me gustó: The busy road is a bit loud

Me gustó: The setup was lovely. Toilets, showers and laundry room were immaculate. Owners were really friendly and communication was excellent.

No me gustó: The location of the bell tents was very close to a busy national speed limit road meaning it wasn't peaceful. This didn't affect us as we were the only ones in the bell tents field ......but if the other two pitches were being used there is no privacy between pitches.

Me gustó: The site was close to the town of Kirkby Lonsdale where there was some fab little shops and restaurants. The site facilities were clean and the bell tent was so cosy, the little electric fire kept us warm.

No me gustó: Close to a main road so can be noisy.

Me gustó: Loved the bell tent, decor, all the extras (kettle, tea & coffee), comfy bed, felt nice and clean. Decent toilets/ shower block too.

No me gustó: Pretty noisy road very close so could hear it through the night

Me gustó: We had such a great stay, the field in which the tents where in was enclosed so the dogs or the kids couldn’t escape, so much space to run around, the host were lovely and friendly, very welcoming, the tents are gorgeous had everything we needed including tea and coffee (which I forgot to bring) the bed was so comfortable, there are only three tents and we had all three as we are a big family which was great but I imagine it is still as comfortable with other people in the tents, the shower block is right by the field for the tents, the toilets and showers were so clean also. It rained most the time we were there but it was still a great experience and would love to stay there again

No me gustó: Not a dislike as such (my husbands snoring was worse) but some may dislike it, in a morning you can here the road traffic and although the fridge was a great addition to our camping experience don’t expect to fit too much in.

Me gustó: Excellent Stay - VERY welcoming - super clean in the Bell tents and toilets - had excellent space to play some games as the weather wasn't on our side - close to the village with excellent food

Me gustó: The cleanliness and decor of the bell-tent is amazing! So spacious and just all round amazing!

No me gustó: Nothing to do with the site or bell-tent experience at all just something to note if people are needing taxi’s for travelling into Kirkby Lonsdale or elsewhere for a good beer then book in advance as they can be hard to come by!

Me gustó: Lovely spacious, well decorated belltent, with electricity! Nice space with garden chairs/table and a fire pit. You can buy some logs for the firepit there. Toilets/shower facilities not too far away, and kept really clean Area to wash pots and even laundry

No me gustó: So close to the road, but it is fenced off incase you bring the kids, but you forget about the noise when enjoying yourself

Me gustó: Quiet, clean, good location, cute decor, spacious and was just lovely.

Me gustó: Facilities on site. Bell tent set up. Tracey was always immediately on hand via text message to answer questions.
