Newlands Valley Campsite

Me gustó Great campsite with all you need and amazing views. Toilets and showers were clean and well looked after. The Swinside pub is about 3min walk and its food is unreal. The owners made us feel welcome and were very friendly.

Me gustó Beautiful location, love Newlands valley. Very close to fell walks and Derwent water, Keswick just an hour walk. Very relaxed environment and well maintained site. Been going for years and will continue to do so. Owners are very friendly and helpful

Me gustó Fantastic campsite. Lovely clean toilet and shower block. Well kept site and fantastic location 20 minutes walk from catbells. 15 minute drive to Keswick centre and Buttermere. Had all the facilities we needed. We were greeted on arrival and all very friendly and helpful.

No me gustó Could maybe use a second skip for everyone’s rubbish as it was very full.

Me gustó Great campsite. Quiet & secluded. Lovely pub, Swinside Inn just up the road.
Able to have a fire (available to rent if you haven’t your own, along with buying more logs). Toilet blocks regularly cleaned throughout the day. Limited 3/4G data - take that as a good or bad thing.
Will definitely go & stay again.

Me gustó Great location for walks, and only 30 minutes walk to keswick. Pub 10 minutes walk.
Lots of space on site. Showers hot

No me gustó Overpriced. Basic facilities: only 1 sink for washing up. Very limited number of bathroom sinks for washing. No proper grey waste disposal.

We are looking into getting more sinks in the washing up area. The sinks in the toilets are handwash sinks and we have showers for washing 😊

We dont have chemical waste facilities nor do we advertise this, as we have toilets available.

Me gustó Lovely quiet big flat field next to a stream with beautiful views. Great location for hiking. Pub nearby. Clean toilets and hot showers

No me gustó Lack of opportunity to refreeze ice packs. Quite expensive given basic facilities

Me gustó Fab site , showers hot and clean, toilets cleaned regularly . Lots of space around your pitch and staff super friendly!

No me gustó Not a major issue but an extra sink would be great or maybe a bench next to the sink to stand and dry the dishes.

Me gustó Absolutely loved this campsite. Perfect location, super friendly staff and clean site. This was a very chilled and amazing site. We had two teenagers and a dog and it really was perfect. We will definitely go back. Toilets and showers clean.

No me gustó The only thing I would say is add another pot wash.
