Ik was blij met Great campsite. Quiet & secluded. Lovely pub, Swinside Inn just up the road.
Able to have a fire (available to rent if you haven’t your own, along with buying more logs). Toilet blocks regularly cleaned throughout the day. Limited 3/4G data - take that as a good or bad thing.
Will definitely go & stay again.

Ik was blij met Great location for walks, and only 30 minutes walk to keswick. Pub 10 minutes walk.
Lots of space on site. Showers hot

Ik was niet blij met Overpriced. Basic facilities: only 1 sink for washing up. Very limited number of bathroom sinks for washing. No proper grey waste disposal.

We are looking into getting more sinks in the washing up area. The sinks in the toilets are handwash sinks and we have showers for washing 😊

We dont have chemical waste facilities nor do we advertise this, as we have toilets available.

Ik was blij met Lovely quiet big flat field next to a stream with beautiful views. Great location for hiking. Pub nearby. Clean toilets and hot showers

Ik was niet blij met Lack of opportunity to refreeze ice packs. Quite expensive given basic facilities

Ik was blij met Fab site , showers hot and clean, toilets cleaned regularly . Lots of space around your pitch and staff super friendly!

Ik was niet blij met Not a major issue but an extra sink would be great or maybe a bench next to the sink to stand and dry the dishes.

Ik was blij met Absolutely loved this campsite. Perfect location, super friendly staff and clean site. This was a very chilled and amazing site. We had two teenagers and a dog and it really was perfect. We will definitely go back. Toilets and showers clean.

Ik was niet blij met The only thing I would say is add another pot wash.

Ik was blij met Everything, large pitches, steam running along the field, plenty of footpaths to explore and a pub within walking distance. No issues at all with the facilities - other reviewers seem to overlook the value and the pop-up nature of this site, but it worked for our group of 8. Showers were hot, toilets all working and kept stocked by the friendly staff. This site is a fantastic base to explore the borrowdale/newlands area. Pitchup says not dog friendly in FAQs, this is definitely not the case, our dog had a great time in the stream and walks.

Ik was blij met What a lovely place, wonderful views, lots of places to walk, beautiful surroundings, very friendly staff, always on site, clean toilets and showers.Dog friendly. Firepit allowed with the option to buy wood on site.5min walk to pub and easy walk to Catbells. Highly recommend it.I'm sure we will back again !!

Simple fields with Loads of space, amazing location. Great and clean toilets and showers. Friendly and helpful managers. Loved my visit will be returning soon!
