Liked Huge pitches. Lots to do for young and old, bike hire, pool, arcade, food offerings and proximity to beach and above all every single member of staff who went above and beyond to be helpful and cheerful.

Disliked Young children ruining the main event entertainment at 9pm by heckling and causing havoc on he main stage interrupting the poor comedian

Liked The welcome, The bar,the shop, the animals, watching families playing together in the field, the animals, the fabulous sized pitches, the great facilities and best of all , the VIBE! So beautiful to be amongst campers and locals of all ages just digging the gorgeous surroundings, laughing together and loving everything this fabulous campsite has to offer.

Disliked The only slight change would be to review pizza cooking and maybe part cook bases before topping them as they were terribly soggy in the middle and not fully cooked as the edges were.

Disliked Very wet cold slippery toilets - very smelly from septic tank. Noisy large groups of campers partying in the night. Left after one night after paying for two.

From the manager: Many thanks for your review.. We are sorry you didn't enjoy your stay with us.. The toilets are checked and cleaned if necessary every hour through until 10pm as you can see from previous reviews.. The floors will be wet ( see warning signs) if we are busy and the weather raining and gales as it was on the BH Sunday.. We also do a thorough clean late morning which will take time to dry in damp weather .. We were also full that weekend. . I checked around Saturday night about 10/10.30 and there was only a couple of families chatting in their awnings on the other side of the field that night..We only had family groups on site that weekend.. If you had a problem you could have spoken to us and we could have tried to rectified it. All other times our small site is very peaceful... Kind Regards Andy

Liked Dog exercise field and walk to the local pub. Good showers.

Disliked Cramped site. Poor drainage so very muddy. Pizzas from takeaway not homemade-rather shop bought bases and toppings thrown on. Stodgy. Could be fantastic.

We are sorry that you stayed with us over an extremely wet weekend - normally Wooda is very well drained however it was unfortunate that we had 2.5 inches of rain resulting in slightly wet pitches. We will also pass your comments on to the takeaway, and hope that we might be able to welcome you back to Wooda again one day - hopefully in the sunshine!

Liked Loved the laid back viibe of the grassy site. Hugh pitches divided by hedging and fabulous landscaping. Tents and vans mingled and despite it being full over the bank holiday,everyone had a smile on their faces! Fantastic walks from the site with a great pub just down the road serving the most amazing Sunday roast lunch! We live In Cornwall about 30 miles away and loved this corner of our beloved county. We will be back!

Liked Colin, the owner always smiling and laid back. The views are amazing....gorgeous weather and honesty shop with home made goodies such as chocolate cookies, shortbread, flapjacks and garlic foccacia!! Yummsville!! Only there for the weekend as locals livibg further west but we will return!
