Powered grass campsite
Liked The site was convenient to the A5 and our plans. Toilet and shower block clean.
Disliked On arrival there was a problem with the barrier, called to gain access and eventually got into site. We were asked our name but they had no booking information for us. Was abruptly told to go to reception to sort, on giving my booking details I was allocated a pitch for the evening. Customer Service was lacking and I felt like we were an inconvenience despite nothing being our fault. An apology was not forthcoming at all. However, the gentleman who showed us to our new allocated pitch was helpful, but as we weren’t booked in we received no site information or paperwork.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. We apologise if you felt that way but unfortunately your booking form was not on our system. We did ask you politely to go to reception as we had greeted you at the barrier and when we resolved the situation we did apologise.

Primitive grass and earth campervan campsite
Liked Great location and easy booking. Wild camping - don’t be put off by compost toilets, they were clean and ok to use!
Disliked Sadly needs some TLC, area around toilets very untidy with old things lying around. No recycling as listed in details. Also, never managed to get a hot shower!

Croyde Burrows powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Location
Disliked Shower blocks need attention and it wouldn’t take much to improve them. Swimming pool very tired and small and over crowded.
