Liked Spacious level pitches ,hot showers ,pub next to site does great food at reasonable prices.
Shower gel and shampoo in showers a great little touch .
Disliked Washing up water was Luke warm and took ages to wash the dishes as wasn’t hot enough to get rid of grease from pans.
Toilets had old cobwebs and nothing to dry hands on and toilet rolls on floor next to bins.
Elsan was discusting didn’t flush and had no running water to rinse out I did read in a previous review that there was an issue but assumed it would have been fixed before we visited.

Dent, Cumbria, England
Powered cement/asphalt RV campsite (small)
Liked Site is in a beautiful location with lovely views .
Disliked Site very over crowded with barely any room between pitches and had large groups who like to party until the early hours although it states quiet after 11 o’clock.
We booked for 2nights on hard standing with electric hook up but were shown to a grass pitch even though we said we had booked for hard standing which they had clearly over sold the pitches,(grass pitch was £2.50 a night cheaper spoke to Margaret the site owner and she wouldn’t refund us the difference) we spoke to people in motor homes who booked for hard standing and were given grass pitches too and were told if they didn’t like it to go home .
We were in our camper van and went out for the day ,when we came back the owner Margret had put some body else on our pitch even though the people next to us informed her it was our pitch and she didn't care and was very rude and had to find another space our selves which was difficult as everyone was packed in like sardines.
Facilities were very poor for the size of the site and dated had to wait for toilet ,shower and pot wash as there were far too many people for the size of the site.
There is a farm shop/cafe belonging to the site but didnt bother with it as prices were extremely expensive.
The owners seem to be out to make as much money as they can and don’t care about any thing else ,customer service was non existent and didn’t care about guests.
This is the worst site I have ever stayed on and won’t be going back.
Wish I had googled reviews on the site before I booked it as didn’t enjoy the site at all .

Liked Nice clean and quiet site, 2nd visit to the site and us and the kids have loved it both times.
Disliked Need a fob card for toilets which is a bit of a pain if you forget to pick it up especially when you are desperate.
Showers take tokens which can be purchased for 20p from machine outside of reception, bit old fashioned but the site must have their reasons for keeping this system, but I have stayed on sites with alot worse facilities.
