Liked Excellent as always! We've camped here a number of times now and we can't fault it. Always immaculate, staff friendly and helpful, beautiful walk from site into Lyme. Was especially good this time as my son and I had come from 2 nights in a very grotty campsite in Wiltshire and we were so relieved to be somewhere so lovely, clean and relaxing! Pop up takeaways Friday and Saturday, lovely not to have to cook. Of course, we will be back!

Liked Very well kept site, very clean showers and toilets, lovely hot and powerful showers. Use of freezer and fridge very helpful. The owners were very kind and helpful, really nice people. Loved the bubbles too!!! Literally a short path from the site brings you out to the lake, stunning views and very enjoyable walks. We loved having the fire pit and it was very reasonable £2 a day and £8 for a huge bag of wood, kindling and fire lighters. An absolute gem of a place and brilliant for water sports which we didn't do this time but would bring our paddle board next time. Loved watching the bats flying overhead at dusk and even though it was a bit cloudy, we had some stars!

Liked Had a lovely weekend with my daughter in Tom's field. It is a very clean, quiet and relaxed campsite. The showers and toilets were very clean, and kept that way by frequent cleans throughout the day. You can charge your phone and use a freezer at reception which was very handy. We hired a firepit for the weekend which was dropped off and collected from our pitch. They have a pizza truck that visited on Saturday night, very good pizza! Short walk from a pub. You can walk all around the area, we did a bit but found the campsite so relaxing we spent a lot of time chilling and reading. Would return, would reccomend

Liked Very well kept site! Everywhere was beautifully maintained. The showers and toilets were immaculate and modern. Nice little shop, they do coffee and croissants etc. Helpful lady at reception. Lovely walks from site, really enjoyed it, would return with the family.
Disliked Only one tiny thing, on the website it said you could bring your own firepit which I did, then when I asked about blocks to raise it off the ground I was told they don't do that anymore, I would have to hire one off them for £11 including wood, kindling and fire starters, which I did but it would have been good to know.

Liked We just got back yesterday from Hook Farm Campsite, and we can't wait to return! It is a beautiful campsite, pitches are well located, you don't feel like you're just stuck in a row of tents. Each pitch feels quite private due to the landscaping. It is very well maintained, toilet blocks and showers were really clean, everything feels well organised. The location is brilliant! Very short walk to the nearest pub, (also very nice), 5 minutes drive in to Lyme or the option of the stunning Riverside walk which takes you right into Lyme. It is also well located for visits to other places in the area. My daughter, son and I had a great time, we will definitely return and next time hubby wants to come with us! Thanks so much! It's great to find such a gem of a site.
Disliked Nothing at all!

Primitive grass campsite
Liked Very, very clean and well maintained site. Could not fault staff, there was someone cleaning the toilets and shower blocks very regularly, never saw it looking dirty once in 4 days and the site was almost fully booked. Pitches were well maintained, as soon as someone left, the pitch was raked and watered. The proximity to Brixham was brilliant. a short walk down to the harbor and you had a variety of pubs restaurants and shops.
Disliked The pitch size was a bit cramped, felt a bit on top of each other. A bit more space and it would have been perfect.
