Liked Lovely quiet village, walk to waterfall very clean tidy site. Very helpful kind and cheerful people.
Disliked No tumble drier ( fortunately weather meant line could be used). Urinals far to close to unisex toilets - very embarrassing 😳 for everyone.

Power optional cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Being by river clean showers but not near our van, we were told the nearest block were not available to us ( looked like they needed refurbishment) Fairly reasonable price.
Disliked No effort made to clear pitches of dead leaves probably 2 x ft deep, it would appear no maintenance done to the side we were on.

From the manager: hi dears, thank you for your notice ; do not forget that you always , on our site , have the possibility to choose a pitch by yourself ; begin April = beginning of the season , end of the maintenance of the camping (also perpetual maintenance during the year...) , so please , do nt choose a pitch in maintenance ...!

Powered gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely man welcomed us and was very up beat. Having a heater in shower area.
Disliked Only one shower ( it wasn’t a problem as we were the only people in the campsite, but can imagine it would be a problem once there are a few. Flooring in toilets showers isn’t adequate. We didn’t need to use washing machines but am guessing that the new owners were using them and didn’t take they laundry out while we were on site. Just felt it was in need of some TLC.

Powered earth campsite (Private restroom amenities)
Liked Quiet site fairly spacious plots, individual shower toilets for each pitch.
Disliked Shower toilets a bit dated - not a particularly large area to walk dog. Having travelled around laundry facilities were one of the most expensive, almost double compared to some sites.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Close proximity to beach - lovely bakery and a couple of good places to eat across the road
Disliked Toilets and washing up facilities very grim. Having cycled around the island there are many more much nicer places. Reception welcome was nothing special and although 3* not as good as some 2* we stayed in. Wi-Fi has to be paid for.

Liked A great location, so much greenery and lovely beautiful lakes. Ladies showers particularly good, with nice little touches.
Disliked We were a large family group of all generations so I would loved to have seen a play park for the children. Also just a tip but I was asked because we are quite local to the site where footpaths were. I didn’t know therefore a map perhaps near the library showing nearest walkable places like Ash (Juliettes) bus to sandwich/ Wingham with pubs and restaurants and shops would have been a nice touch.
