Kettering, Northamptonshire, England
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Exactly as described on the advert.
Easy to find , good location.
Plenty of open fields and public footpaths to explore ( according to Strava I managed to walk 6 miles just wandering around).
Hosts were very helpful and friendly, I received a text message at half 9 of the morning I was due to arrive informing me that my pitch was ready .
There was a portable toilet block which was clean and fully stocked.
Disliked The only " issue " I had was the traffic noise , but I am a light sleeper and it was mentioned in the advert but it was no worse than I was expecting, admittedly this was not the fault of the owners , it's just one of those things.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite (members only)
Liked Good location for the peaks and local towns as well as decent local walks .
Food in the pub was excellent and the locals seem welcoming and friendly ( they probably realise that the tourists are helping the pub stay open at a time when so many others have closed down )

Haxey, Lincolnshire, England
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Very rural surroundings yet only 10 minutes from the nearest village .
Large private woods next to campsite to explore as well a nature reserve next door .
Toilet block was clean and well stocked with toilet rolls etc
Disliked Nothing to dislike with the exception of the road to the site which was a little tough going at one point ( although this isn't the fault of the campsite , just a heads up if you're driving a car with little ground clearance)
