Liked The view, the playground, although couldn’t get a table the restaurant smelt and looked so good! Absolutely gorgeous.
Disliked The showers on the camping field. They turn off after 15s ish and you have to leave out to push a button on the silk, and they flood so you can’t get dressed without soaking your socks.

From the manager: Thanks for the lovely review! ❤️ We’re delighted you enjoyed the views and playground — and we’re sorry you couldn’t get a restaurant table. The fact it smelled so good probably didn’t make that any less painful! 😂🍴 We completely understand your comments about the camping showers. A 15-second shower followed by a dash to the button certainly wasn’t intended as part of the entertainment! 😂🚿 The flooding and lack of dry space to get dressed isn’t ideal either, so we appreciate the feedback and it’s something we know needs attention. Hopefully you’ll be back — with a restaurant table waiting and your socks staying considerably drier! 😂❤️

Powered grass campsite
Liked The size of the pitch is brilliant, proximity to the events and Holme Pierre point is great. Gorgeous site, good kids play kit and lovely little shop.
Disliked Toilets are dreadful. Didn’t flush, doors didnt lock, taps didn’t work, showers didn’t empty so flooded. There’s newer toilet blocks but not many so did have to use the old toilet blocks. The mens didn’t even have locks and same issue as above. The toilets are the only thing that let this place down

Liked Stayed with friends, both sets of families had young kids and dogs. Beautiful site, good space around tent, and good little shop. Beautiful scenery and walks from the site and beautiful beach that isn’t overcrowded. Lots of the local beaches were very busy due to it being august however the little beach accessed from the camp site is gorgeous and not too busy. Great for body boarding, paddling, and making sandcastles.
Disliked Toilets were quite smelly as mentioned in the other booking from friends. Shame really as otherwise good facilities and everything was thought of.

Liked Liked all of the camp site. Brilliant walk to the beach, lovely scenery and good space either side of the electrical hook up. We saw shooting stars, were star gazing, and the kids were buggy boarding at the beach (which really is a 5 minute walk or under)
Disliked Toilets were a bit smelly, bit of a shame really. The mens stunk even when sat outside which was a bit off putting for the pizza area.
