Norwich, Norfolk, England
Lower Meadow primitive grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Nice relaxed site with the cleanest toilet / shower facilities on any campsite I have visited. Only 10 min cycle into Norwich centre and has a nice cafe close by.
Good size level pitches.
Disliked Not the campsites fault just its location is near to a main road and rail line so you get a bit of traffic noise and police sirens etc. I normally go a bit further out and away from it all so I noticed it but didn’t keep me awake.

Very quiet site lovely peaceful area with just a few horses being trained and walked in the field next to the camping area.
Disliked Nothing all good

Bakewell, Derbyshire, England
Primitive grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Nice surroundings nearby to Bakewell and the monsal trail which is good for cycling. Friendly staff who greet you and explain where you can pitch.
Disliked Just too big with too many people, there was a queue for the loos and showers both mornings and they were a bit grubby as I guess they were being used constantly. Couple of noisy groups of lads who went on into the early hours. I prefer a smaller quieter site so may be good for others who don’t mind it busy.

From the manager: Hi Stewart. We are an extremely popular campsite & we get quite busy at weekends. But if you can visit us mid week it is really quiet & peaceful. Thankyou
Staintondale, North Yorkshire, England
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass tent or RV campsite
Liked Small quiet site in a lovely location, just off of the cinder track which is excellent cycling for mountain bike / hybrid. Showers a bit pricey and could do with another couple of wash basins. Overall though a chilled little site with no hassle at all getting in and set up , pitch was nice and dry as the there is a large gravel are for each pitch
