What customers say

Great location near Venice ferry, with lovely lagoon views. Staff are friendly & helpful. Clean, though dated, facilities. Pool & amenities popular with families. Downsides: aircraft/ship noise & mosquitos.

Great for proximity to Venice. But don’t expect a premium experience.

Green Area powered grass and gravel campsite

Liked Location. Really well placed for a boat ride in to Venice.

Disliked Little organisation of pitches, a free for all really, with some more selfish visitors parking wherever they felt like it.
Lots of flies and midges; nothing seemed to stop them feasting!
Camp staff very laissez faire.

Fronte laguna powered grass and gravel campsite

Liked This campsite gave us great access to Venice via the ferry, they accepted dogs too, a great service.

We booked a lagoon facing pitch and this was the best choice I made. We had so much fun watching the ships come and go
but also waving to the cruisers n ships as they set off.

Lots of shower and toilet options, some more modern than others.

Disliked Not a dislike but you may not get much sleep by the lagoon, it will be so fun!

The food at both restaurants was just ok but their wine and beer was great, very reasonable.

Green Area powered grass and gravel campsite

Liked Proximity to Venice..less than 5 minutes walk to ferry

Can check in from 8am from what I could see

Pleasant staff

Could have car by pitch assuming you got there in time to get the space!

Disliked Very busy site....would not want to be trying to find a pitch at the height of the season..
As others have said it's a free for all in terms of pitches....we arrived before lunchtime so had some choice..

It's basically beside an electricity station and very noisy on the direct flight path to the airport and an almost constant rattle and clacking of assorted shipping going past...we find this quite interesting but not everyone would appreciate the noise

Some people have commented on very dated and basic toilets/ washing facilities....I wonder if they missed that there is a newer large block across from those ones?

Local attractions

Most folk staying at Camping Fusina Tourist Village quite rightly come to view fab Venice – its Grand Canal, its art and architecture and its Piazza San Marco among many more – and its islands such as Murano, Burano, Torcello and Lido. The entire city as well as its lagoon are a World Heritage Site, so lace up your comfy shoes and prepare for lots of sightseeing. Also famed in the region are the 200 or so Palladian Villas of the Riviera del Brenta/Brenta Riviera, once homes of the Venetian aristocracy who built their villas along the waterfront: book a Burchiello boat tour to see them between March and October. And… one could stay here for weeks what with the many more things to see and do in and around Venezia, but if you're pushed for time, recommended options nearby include Padoa and Treviso, both a 20-minute drive away; and the town of Abano Terme ten kilometres south west of Padua, known Europe-wide for its hot springs and mud baths.
