Primitive grass campsite (family)
Liked Excellent views across the campsite and the beaches are only a 15 minute walk from camp our pitch had plenty of room ,clean toilets and showers ,grill house was on point the place was brilliant, also the 2 girls that booked us in and showed us around were really helpful and friendly we would definitely recommend and will be going again
Disliked I sound really petty here but some people disregarded the 10.30 rule of quieting down but this was due to them being rather drunk but ah well it’s a campsite at the end of the day other than that there was not a lot to dislike

Overall lovely place:)
Primitive grass campsite (family)
Liked Really good clean site and easy to get to everything local(beach ect.) Lovely food, owners were polite and helpful.
Sounds like they have some good plans for this place for the future:) we enjoy coming here.
Disliked Its not baby or disabled friendly(at the moment). Roads are stoney/bumpy for a pram/wheel chair and no wash/toilet facilities.
Also there seemed to be too many fires in such a small area which made everywhere very smokey.

Brilliant stay and would like to return
Primitive grass campsite (family)
Liked The clean and tidy fields, the new eatery building open for weekend mornings and evenings, the toilets were cleaned twice daily. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Very nice family run business. Price is fair. Pitches could do with being marked a little better as a new comer we didn't quite know how big the pitch was so they could be marked with a black marker down the fence panels to make people aware of sizes. I think the curfew for car movement between the hours of 22:30 and 7:30 are great as this means people are not disturbed.
Disliked The toilets on the camping field, could do with a proper structure block of toilets like the main toilets round by reception, as some doors wouldn't shut due to the heat and the handle was missing to one of the doors. We also found that we were rushed back to the campsite due to gates being shut at 22:30, meaning our walk to the beach rock club house was cut slightly short due to the gates being locked and being unable to get back to our tent. I think it would be better to have a pedestrian walkway around the locked gate for vehicles to allow walkers to get back in after the curfew of car movement.

Liked Toilets were clean with relaxing music
Staff were extremely polite, lovely and helpful
Plenty of bins close to all areas
Disliked Electric hookup very intermittent nd often did get any charge all day which is not great considering the price of the pitch.
Gardener strimming at 8 in the morning right next to pitch waking us up
Limited walks from site as advised on description
No WIFI and very poor reception

Camping pod (hot tub)
Liked Pod was clean, well presented. Had everything you needed.
The kids loved the crepes and the food van - staff were great who served the food.
Disliked A few of the staff were just horrible. Swearing in front of children, shouting at guests. A few in the tents also commented on the way they were spoken to by staff.
Hot tub was cold and TV signal was shocking. Had to get staff out daily to try to the TV, maintenance tried their best but signal was poor so struggled to watch anything.
Cleaner was constantly walk through our group, stopping at starting at us and then walking past the pod starring in - absolute headcase!

lovely friendly helpful service from beau…
Powered grass campsite (family)
Liked lovely friendly helpful service from beau & the man that both worked in the food hut
Disliked We stayed at this campsite over the weekend as part of a group and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
The biggest issue was the attitude of the owner. We found her to be extremely rude when speaking to guests, including our group, and it created an uncomfortable atmosphere throughout our stay. Rather than feeling welcomed, we felt like we were constantly being watched and spoken to as though we had done something wrong.
One particular incident involved our BBQ. We were told we were breaking the campsite rules, despite using a raised BBQ that was fully supervised. The campsite’s own Facebook page clearly states that raised BBQs are permitted and that only disposable BBQs placed directly on the ground are not allowed. We had followed those rules, yet were still spoken to in a way that was completely unnecessary and unprofessional.
Sadly, our experience didn’t improve. The cleaner was also incredibly rude, raising her voice at both parents and children on several occasions. We felt stared at whenever she walked across the field, and her behaviour made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable for the duration of our stay.
As a group, we spent a considerable amount of money staying here, but instead of enjoying a relaxing weekend, we were left feeling like we didn’t belong. Good customer service starts with making guests feel welcome, and unfortunately that was completely lacking.
The one shining light was Beau, the owner’s daughter. She was friendly, approachable and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. She and the man working in the food hut were a credit to the campsite and the only members of staff who made us feel welcome - her mother the camp owner or ‘the boss’ as she referred to herself should take a leap out of her daughters book.
It’s such a shame because the campsite itself has potential, but until the way guests are treated improves, we wouldn’t return or recommend it to others.

Powered grass campsite (family)
Liked Grill House was great, food was tasty and the young girl on reception was lovely. Good location for the beach & modern shower block which was kept clean
Disliked No facilities for children ie a park or field to play sports. Wifi signal very weak in the fields.
I would never rate a site so low, but we were so disappointed with the attitude we received from the owner in regard to BBQs and we had followed the rules given to us on check in via a leaflet. I believe we were not the only family to receive the same abuse. We spent over £2k on 3 x pods and 4 x tent pitches for a 3 night stay, and we were treated so poorly. All we wanted was to get the kids off their phones for a weekend, play sports and do quizzes etc and we were treated like scum off the owner & then the cleaner threatened one of the Mums whilst we were playing rounders and continued to stare us out the rest of the stay. Like I say, overall good but I wouldn't recommend to families
