N'a pas aimé The noise level on the Friday evening wasn’t good. Especially with 3 little children trying to get to sleep.
I believe the site has a quiet zone? So maybe worth asking

A aimé Shower and toilet block was always clean plenty of hand sanitizer and toilet paper warm and friendly welcome plenty of pitch up space ideal for short stay breaks

N'a pas aimé The food grill bar was only open twice while we were there this we found very disappointing as it was peak season and due to the hot weather BBQ’s where not permitted maybe a small shop on site could be something they could look into also no WiFi

A aimé Helpful, welcoming and friendly staff, gorgeous cabin with hot tub. Everything included that you will need for a self catering break. Very quiet area where the pods are which is lovely and quiet. Resident grill bar on site which did amazing pizzas in the pizza oven, really helpful for campers who can’t use bbq’s at the minute. Great area and stunning mountains surrounding the campsite area. Had coffee, tea, sugar and things like washing up liquid, etc already in the pod for you to use. Would definitely recommend and I will go back again. We went and climbed Snowdon on one of our days which is about 50 mins from this site. Very close to black rock beach or Porthmadog is a short drive away.

N'a pas aimé Nothing really. Was nowhere to put clothes due to size of the pods so had to keep them in our cases but this is no biggy. Hot tubs are not overly private but the new ones that being put up have additional fencing so they may change this on the older ones maybe. None of these were real issues though and would not prevent me from returning or recommending very busy on the camp site itself if you are camping but seems a nice atmosphere.

N'a pas aimé A little noisy at times (but realise there is a quiet area). Pitches near the toilets are convenient but sometimes noisy. Initial directions were a little sketchy!

A aimé The new looking toilet and shower facilities were a great and modern designed, and the portable toilets around the site were also in decent condition( frequently cleaned but not to the highest standard). The whole site is in a really good location, with very easy access to the beach and nearby local attractions. The food place on site also seemed to be quite good.

N'a pas aimé The fact that we couldn’t use a closed BBQ on a non-electric pitch was quite disappointing. We were only informed upon arrival, when we already had quite a lot of raw meat with us that we had planned to cook. It wasn’t an open-fire BBQ, so we weren’t expecting this to be an issue. Luckily, we managed to cook our food on the nearby beach instead.

I could see that the toilet/ showers facilities were very new and therefore still in generally good, clean condition. However, I would recommend focusing a little more on detailed cleaning. For example, the bench near the showers and the corners of the shower area were quite dirty.

Unfortunately, I also found the attitude of the lady doing the cleaning rather rude and unfriendly, which slightly affected our overall experience.
Little playground for children would make big difference

Réponse du gestionnaire : Hi there, thank you for this review, we are sorry that you was unhappy about not been permitted to have a bbq but unfortunately after having unprecedented dry heatwave weather and a government nation wide alert, on the day you checked in, about no fires and bbqs. Also being advised by the local authority to ban any bbq, campfires or firepits only allowing gas bbq or cooking equipment which we explained to each customer, we was left with no other choice. We prioritise customer safety and safety for our community aswell. As of your other comments we will take them on board and address them

A aimé Great location for beach and mountain breaks, and within easy reach of the wider North Wales area. Camping field is large with decent-sized pitches, and has portaloos and a potwash for convenience; shower/loo block and potwash/laundry also at entrance.

N'a pas aimé No shop on site so you either need to have everything you need, or be prepared to pick up off site (heads-up for solo campers travelling with a pet as you'll need to think about where/when to go, especially in hot weather) but shops are within about a ten-minute drive.

A aimé Fantastic views, excellent shower block and toilets. Location great for the beach.

Excellent grill/food bar.
Staff very helpful and friendly.

Barely any phone service but not a bad thing really.
Definitely would stay again!

A aimé Shower block was fantastic, the location just perfect and the pitch was a great size and well displayed.
Staff were great from moment of arrival and even managed to squeeze us an extra night even though they were fully booked. There is a catering wagon o site which serves breakfast and burgers, pizza etc in the evenings fkr when you feel lazy. The only reason I havent booked fkr next year yet is the website doesn't seem to book that far ahead. Lovely lovely site. See you again next year!!

N'a pas aimé People will moan about the WiFi and lack of signal, but that annoys me. You are camping in a beautiful part of wales. Why anyone needs WiFi is beyond me.
