Last minute booking - struck gold!
Powered grass campsite
Liked Peaceful and relaxed. We booked a tent pitch with electric and we were pleasantly surprised to find we had been allocated a generously sized pitch, complete with its own water and electricity supply, within easy reach of the facilities. The facility blocks were always kept in excellent condition. The site seemed quiet and calm despite other campers coming and going throughout the week.

Powered grass campsite
Liked The campsite was very peaceful and although it seemed fully booked, very quiet and not crowded at all! The facilities were very clean & modern, the toilets and showers were well maintained and showers were very powerful! We stayed on an electric tent plot & we had plenty of space and were close to a block with some toilets & one shower which was handy to be close to. Sometimes the shower can get busy as there is only one, however the main shower block is a couple of minutes walk away so this wasn’t an issue. We also rented a fire pit for £5 for the night, the wardens were really helpful and picked up our fire pit and rubbish as we were packing up to leave as they saw us struggle a bit with the fire pit in our car when we picked it up! Overall we really enjoyed our stay!
Disliked Nothing at all- the only thing to consider when staying here is that the nearest beach is just under 20 mins drive away, and there is not much within walking distance, however this wasn’t too much of a problem for us!

Highly recommend! Clean, friendly and great facilities.
FHU grass tent campsite
Liked This is the nicest campsite I’ve ever stayed at. The tent pitch was set in greenery and the area was landscaped and well maintained. It was fantastic having the water point at the tent as well as electric.
The washing and showering facilities were great! They were clearly cleaned regularly and with little ones (1 & 3 years old) having the option of shower rooms was brilliant.
Nothing was too far to go to on site but you felt away from everything at the tent.
Other guests at the site on the whole were friendly and respectful, one exception who we let the staff know about (music blaring).
Disliked A play ground for little ones. Just a swing, side, and climbing frame would make a big difference.

Nice site, views was stunning if you were 100ft tall.
FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite
Liked very nice site mainly for seasonal pitches we was situated down the bottom end and unfortunatly non of the stunning views, shower block was awesome no silly pressy button tap thingys, bit overpriced but nice...
Disliked Can we go up the top next time for the stunning views.

Powered grass campsite
Liked Really nice site, peaceful, clean and well maintained. Toilet blocks were clean and loo roll and hand wash was provided. Some
Nice games for the kids to play including pool, table tennis and skittles. Very nice stay
Disliked One small niggle, there was only 1 shower in the loo blocks near the camping field. I feel that if the toilet was taken out the wet room two showers would have made better use of the space.
