What customers say
This is a peaceful, secure, and well-maintained campsite with clean, modern facilities. Visitors praise the spacious sites, friendly staff, and lovely rural location with easy access to local amenities and canal walks. While some noted the limited number of toilets and showers during busy periods, and occasional issues with hot water for washing up, most found the value for money excellent and highly recommend the site.

Liked Very friendly, clean and helpful. Had a great night sleep and would book again. Campsite is secure and based on a working farm, was nice to see the cows. There is a farm shop next door with eggs, good quality meat would also recommend.

Liked Lovely quiet site. felt very safe and secure with a coded gate for entry and exit onto site.
Lovely facilities, great size toilet and shower block.
Disliked Only something small… The water pressure was very low and made washing long hair impossible. But the water was lovely and warm

Liked Everything! Everything was clean and well kept! Toilets & showers especially.
I really liked the electric gate/gate code, it made me feel more secure as it was myself & my daughter.
It was lovely & quiet, we wasn’t bothered by anyone.
We just needed a few days quiet, and that’s exactly what we got.
We had EHU
We also walked part of the canal, which was a beautiful circular walk.
Disliked WiFi…. However it’s not a dislike for me. But there was good signal to my phone, so used my hotspot for the laptop to watch films.
(As it was raining lots over our stay)

Would definitely stay again if we were in that area.
Primitive grass campsite
Liked We were greeted at the gate by I presumed the owner. He told us where to go and gave us access code to the gate. Great open space to park, not many others around so we chose to park quite close to the shower block, which was very clean and had all the amenities required for our overnight stay. There’s also washing facilities if required for pots, pans etc. nice quiet location with only the noise from birds.
Disliked Nothing I disliked but if the site was busy I’m not sure there were adequate toilets and showers to facilitate it.
