What customers say
This is a quiet, well-maintained campsite with spacious, level spots and friendly staff. Facilities, including shower and toilet blocks, are consistently praised for their cleanliness and good condition. The secure coded gate provides peace of mind. Some minor issues were noted regarding water pressure in showers, lack of hot water at washing-up sinks, and occasional queues for facilities during busy periods. Fire pit availability was restricted during dry spells.

From the manager: Thank you for your valued feedback, as we endeavour to improve our services when ever possible.
Upon reading this review we conducted a check of the shower units and found that the heaters were both on and functional. We would like to express that in recent weeks the weather and temperature have been quite changeable, so wounder if this may have played a factor in this experience.
With regards to water flow rate, as with a number of shower units, turning the dial to the maximum temperature setting will affect the rate of flow.
As this particular unit is located in a field, we recommend setting the dial to around three quarters (Halfway in the red zone) to achieve a balance between temperature and rate of flow.

Powered cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked This is a fab campsite. Great hardstanding pitches with electricity and water. Close to showers and toilets in great condition. Ideal for a winter stay. I'm sure would be fab in summer too. As a woman on my own I felt safe. It was quiet but not remote. Great circular walk on country lanes, along canal and back through village. Andy was very helpful on my arrival. Really good value too. I highly recommend this site.
