What customers say
A grand spot, this, with plenty of room on the pitches. It's a lovely, quiet place. The loos and showers get a good rap for being spotless and up-to-date. Grand security with the coded gate and the staff are sound, always willing to lend a hand. Perfect for a stroll along the canal or a cycle. Just be aware of the odd time the washing-up water isn't red-hot, and the loos can get a bit busy when it's hopping. All in all, a top place for a chill-out break.

Non-electric grass pitch
Liked (Mostly) clean facilities & quiet site. Warm showers
Disliked No hot water for washing up.
No checking in instructions on the instruction email so we arrived and drove round looking for pitches marked out or some way of knowing where we needed to be. Found a spot unmarked and far away from the electric. Got halfway through setting up our tent and a guy came over to tell us we needed to move. There is a very small sign as you drive in which says you need to call on arrival and be shown where to pitch up. Apparently most people miss this sign - it’s very small and set far back from the road. It was very inconvenient and not what you need after a long drive! Instructions email really needs to have details on, every campsite we’ve stayed at does this, or has check in instructions next to the barrier
