What customers say
A relaxed, friendly campsite with private, level pitches. Welcoming hosts, clean facilities, and optional breakfast. Walkable to shops/pubs. Some found composting toilets unusual, but most loved the peaceful atmosphere. Minimal dog/aircraft noise noted.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Really enjoyed our 1 night stay - fully booked but you wouldn’t know it - very chilled atmosphere! Friendly welcome and lovely family who rub the site. Compost loos clean and easy to use. Nice views, heard owls in the night! Extra bonus they were serving delicious breakfast baps and fresh coffee in the morning.

Friendly hosts, lovely area, clean facilities
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Lovely location, the field was peaceful and the long grass sections made it feel more private. The hosts were fantastic, lovely and helpful. I’d made a mistake with the booking and they were happy to help. Lovely hot showers, optional cold showers too. We had a very yummy breakfast bap in the morning that were being sold from a converted horse box. Lovely place and people, would definitely come back.

Liked Wonderfully clean and fully attended at all times by the owners. A great cafe in the mornings for breakfast is a lovely little luxury. Hosts were lovely people too.

Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked Arrived on site and was greeted by Nick ( the owner ). Very friendly Guy and told us if we needed anything, please just ask. Very clean toliets and wash area, also hot and cold showers on site. Fire pits and wood available and also morning breakfast rolls and drinks to purchase from the horse box. We’ll definitely use the site again 👍

Absolute must!
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!
This is up there with one of our best camping trips.
From the minute we spoke to Nick on the phone, we knew we’d come to the right site.
Nick and Becky have such a chilled, relaxed attitude, and totally get that everyone’s there to have a good time and enjoy their stay. The vibe around the site was a reflection of this.
The site was clean and tidy, with the showers and toilets regularly cleaned, and the bins constantly emptied.
You can pitch up wherever you choose instead of being instructed to take a specific spot.
Breakfast muffins and hot drinks could be purchased if you didn’t have your own cooking facilities or want to cook.
Our ice packs were chilled, our phones were charged, and I had somewhere I could plug my hairdryer into.
There’s a great walk leading to the village pub, and a co-op and Spar around 10 mins walk away.
Can not fault the site or Nick, Becky and their lovely family.
This is an absolute hidden gem!
We will 100% be back next year.
Disliked Going home.
