A perfect no frills, basic site which is immaculate!!!
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked The location - It's nice and quiet (with the exception of the farm animals and water birds but thats not an issue if you like animals and their not that loud even) It's big enough for the six pitches to have plenty of space each. No major roads near by, lovely walks to do including a lake and activity centre close by.
The Owners - Very friendly and welcoming, from the start they have great communication with you and respond very quickly. Very accomodating and great with the kids (the bubbles were a great touch).
The Facilities - They have three toilets, two showers which work well and are nice and clean. There is a massive chest freezer and two fridges that can be used along with an electric kettle. Two washing up stations which are covered so even if its raining you can stay dry.
Disliked Nothing, it's perfect for a short stay (we did four days comfortably)

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked This small, peaceful campsite was perfect for me as a solo camper. It had everything I needed for my two night stay.
Facilities and the site are very clean and organised.
The owners Brian and Caroline were fantastic, Brian was really helpful with tips on places to visit and where to get provisions.
It was soo peaceful, I haven’t slept that well for ages.
The site is literally a 2 minute walk from the lake.
Some really good walks of differing mileage and terrain possible from the site.
The added beauty of this site is there is no light pollution so on a cloudless night and you can see so many stars and constellations. It is stunning.
Would highly recommend.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Really nice campsite. Great location and big quiet pitches. Close to lots of good things and the lake is right on the doorstep
The owners are both really nice, we had discovered we had lost the attachment to our tent pump and they arranged for us to come back and stay free of charge. We have now stayed there twice and will be back again
