What customers say
This small, peaceful campsite is highly recommended for its beautiful lakeside and countryside location, perfect for walks and watersports. Owners Brian and Caroline are praised for being friendly and helpful, with spotless facilities and hot showers. It's a tranquil escape with thoughtful touches like kids' bubbles and fridge/freezer access. Generous pitches offer privacy. While the nearest shop is a bit of a trek, most can't wait to return.

Beautiful peaceful gem
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked This small, peaceful campsite was perfect for me as a solo camper. It had everything I needed for my two night stay.
Facilities and the site are very clean and organised.
The owners Brian and Caroline were fantastic, Brian was really helpful with tips on places to visit and where to get provisions.
It was soo peaceful, I haven’t slept that well for ages.
The site is literally a 2 minute walk from the lake.
Some really good walks of differing mileage and terrain possible from the site.
The added beauty of this site is there is no light pollution so on a cloudless night and you can see so many stars and constellations. It is stunning.
Would highly recommend.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked What wasn't too like? This peaceful site is lovely. Brian and Caroline were very welcoming with suggestions of places to visit or walk. I hired a firepit and enjoyed watching the flames each evening.
The facilities were very clean and the use of the fridge and freezer was ideal in the hot weather! It's not many places that you go and have swallows visiting you when you do the washing up.
The night sky on a clear night was amazing!
