What customers say
Spotless site with great modern amenities & friendly staff. Spacious pitches, electric/water hookups. Close to M5, good for stopovers. Some note highway noise, others peace. A few mentioned inconsistent shower temps/hot water.

Convenient stopover, but more functional than holiday site
Powered grass campsite
Liked Very convenient for the M5, making it a good stopover on the way to or from the West Country. The site has a relaxed, informal feel, with no real arrival or departure times being enforced. Despite looking quite busy when you arrive, it actually feels less busy than it appears. The reason is that the vast majority of pitches are occupied by semi-permanent setups, many of which are used by Hinkley Point workers who are away from the site during the day.
There are really only a handful of pitches available for touring caravans and motorhomes. Facilities are well appointed and generally good.
Disliked There is quite a lot of movement around the site early in the morning, particularly before 6am, as workers leave for Hinkley Point.
The ladies’ toilet block is currently out of order, with the disabled toilets and showers having been reassigned for general use. There doesn’t appear to be much work taking place, or any great sense of urgency, to get the main block open again.
Overall, a functional and convenient site, particularly for a stopover, but probably not somewhere I’d choose for a week’s holiday.

A hidden gem 💎
Powered grass campsite
Liked Very friendly and facilities spotless. The toilet block looks recently modernised. Great location to stop over and explore the area.
Definitely would stay again!
Disliked Sweets in the toilet block. Nice gesture and looks good. I know that some people's toilet hygiene is great so wouldn't touch them.
Reminds me of peanuts on the bar.

Such a layed back site.
Powered grass campsite
Liked We booked after leaving another site with horrendous facilities and was welcomed by Robert who was an absolute gentleman, so layed back he should have fallen over. Water was by every power point and had a cracking dog run. The shower block has to be the best around and very well maintained.
Disliked Absolutely nothing.
