Liked Stayed over at Newton Brook for 1 night passing through down to Cornwall. Robert and Jane were very helpful, showing us to our electric pitch which was 16 amp. The site looked pretty full but actually it was very quiet as a lot of the vans are workers. Who camp out whilst working near the site.
We walked down to Pynes farm shop approx 1 mile, well woth the walk down. Jane even said she would come and pick us up if we didn't fancy the walk back. We did walk back and later that day Jane and Robert came our van making sure we had got back safely. They also brought us a bench and table so we could sit out and eat our evening meal, again very thoughtful. The showers were great, lovely hot water. Two cubicles for the ladies with toilet, shower, sink and a chair, lovely and clean. The men had about 5 toilets and 5 showers. Very nice too and again spotlessly clean. They are in the throws of doing a new toilet block for the ladies as they had had a few leaks. Will be very smart when finished.
A useful pot wash should you need it.
A games room as well with pool, table tennis, darts and other things.

Liked Large spacious pitches. Facilities on site and a enclosed dog run. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked Nothing really, there was some noise from the M5 but we didn't find it bothered us. It is close to a football club and there was a wedding reception there one night which went on until 20 to two in the morning.

Powered grass campsite
Liked Wow what a site perfect for many reasons, we were visiting relatives in the area. This site is also perfect for an overnight stay when traveling south , we stayed for 3 nights. Jane and Robert made us feel so welcome on arrival, Robert showed us to our pitch and explained everything we needed to know. Clean and more than enough facilities, showers, toilets and washing up areas spotless . There was also a game’s room , we didn’t use it but there was alot to choose from in there. We would definitely recommend this site.
