Liked Large site and good location but lots of Hinkley point caravans which we didnt know about before hand. Having said that they were very quiet
Nearest side to Bridgwater if visiting

Disliked Mens showers were cold

Liked Everything was so chilled.
This is a quiet site which is exactly what I wanted as a first time camper.
Amenities were cleaned so many times a day it was lovely.
Robert the groundsman is the loveliest man ever and cane to our rescue with pegs and a few bits we needed.
Location is great for days out.
The kids liked the games room.

Disliked Nothing. Had a fab 4 nights away.

Liked Very good site , staff are always great and very helpful and facilities are always clean very good condition We go there every year now on way to the Beutifull days festival and are always very happy with site .

Liked Extremely friendly, the chap who took us to pitch is lovely! My dog was more welcomed than us 🤣. Good games room, kitchen area really clean and appliances spot on.
Clean site great toilets/showers always clean any time of day . Great dog park area. Perfect as always , thanks guys

Disliked Not a dislike but probably wouldn’t have sweets on the toilet system 🙈
Was going to use laundry room but one machine full of dirty water and other out of order . No big issue for me, I hand washed bits.

Liked - most welcoming arrival from the wardens. Both genuinely lovely people, please pass on our thanks!
- great enclosed dog run/ field. Our pup loved it!!
- very clean facilities
- games room with plenty to occupy
- good sized pitches
-fresh flowers in the ladies bathroom were a nice touch!

Disliked Not to moan as we had a lovely stay, however…
The only thing I would recommend is the “workers” should all be pitched together at the bottom end of the field and “tourers” at the top. This way we will not be disrupted by each other (early to leave for work etc)
And the tourists will feel more in holiday mode surrounded by other tourists.
This is nothing negative about the site as it’s great, just good to have outside opinions for future planning.

Liked Very convenient for the M5, making it a good stopover on the way to or from the West Country. The site has a relaxed, informal feel, with no real arrival or departure times being enforced. Despite looking quite busy when you arrive, it actually feels less busy than it appears. The reason is that the vast majority of pitches are occupied by semi-permanent setups, many of which are used by Hinkley Point workers who are away from the site during the day.

There are really only a handful of pitches available for touring caravans and motorhomes. Facilities are well appointed and generally good.

Disliked There is quite a lot of movement around the site early in the morning, particularly before 6am, as workers leave for Hinkley Point.

The ladies’ toilet block is currently out of order, with the disabled toilets and showers having been reassigned for general use. There doesn’t appear to be much work taking place, or any great sense of urgency, to get the main block open again.

Overall, a functional and convenient site, particularly for a stopover, but probably not somewhere I’d choose for a week’s holiday.

Liked Used to stop over night on way to Cornwall. We're very accommodating for late check-in. Clean site and very quiet.
