Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely campsite: gorgeous cafe with really nice food and cakes , great choice of pitches, wonderful farm animals, good selection of products in farm shop, dog friendly site, amazing walks nearby, hot showers, freezers , watching machines .
Disliked No loo roll in any of the men’s toilets one morning , but this was sorted by the afternoon.
Also, not the campsite’s fault but some inconsiderate camper van guests nearby who played music for about 12 hours non stop until late at night . Perhaps a no-music section for campers who don’t wanna hear the irritating base beat of other peoples music would be a good call.
But honestly that was the only issue and it’s a really awesome site.

Excellent large site with relaxed rules, great facilities.
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Pitch anywhere with no size limits, allowed to have campfires and BBQs, rocks provided for the fires. Incredibly well stocked shop with pretty much anything you'd need for a camping trip, including logs, kindling, charcoal etc.
Plenty of water fill up points dotted around, excellent toilet/shower/washing up facilities inside a barn always with hot water.
Some parts of the site can be quite exposed when the wind picks up, but the views from the hill over the sea are worth the noisy tent. Can choose to pitch in more protected areas, but the trees block the sea view.
Very quiet site, only noises are animals and the occasional tractor nearby.
Disliked Very very minor gripe, but the pitches with the best view are a little bit of a trek from the toilet/shower block, the extra steps are worth it for the great view though.

Lovely quiet campsite overlooking the sea
Primitive grass RV campsite
Liked The friendly welcome. The well organised site with beautiful views of the sea. The showers because of the steady supply of hot water and because they were clean. The attitude towards fires. The numerous water points on the site. The relaxed attitude towards the departure. The menu choicesThe owners who clearly work very hard and are very dedicated.
Disliked Disliked the rude manner in which the equestrian lady spoke to my partner because she had inadvertently wandered into the vicinity of the horses (not clearly marked).
You can convey the same message without being rude or abrupt and chastising an adult like you would a child. We tried not to allow one person to mar our judgement on our visit.
