  • Family-friendly park within walking distance of Sennen Cove
  • A mile from Land's End with many spectacular beaches nearby
  • Outdoor pool, crazy golf and play area
Have you ever had the sand between your toes at Cornwall's spectacular Sennen Cove? If not, sort your next south-west holiday here forthwith, for this is one of the most beaut beaches in Cornwall (and that's surely saying something). Set within a mile's walk of the cove is Seaview Holiday Park, a family-friendly site well placed for exploring yet more beaut beaches as well as top Cornish attractions like St Ives, St Michael's Mount and the Minack Theatre. The site's terraced layout allows for separate areas for families and couples or single travellers, all with stunning views towards the south coast. And it's not just the outlook that's stunning – fix your gaze closer and you'll note an excellent collection of facilities on site, too. For days when that 20-minute stroll to the beach just seems way too much, there's an outdoor pool for swims and sunbathing, and you'll also have games of crazy golf to play. Families have no need to fear the heavens opening either, as nippers can be entertained at the play area. Amenities include toilet blocks, showers, drinking water and electrical points, chemical disposal and a launderette.

What customers say

Great spot for Land's End & Sennen Cove, with friendly staff. Facilities are clean but dated. Pool & play area a hit with families. Some pitches small, but atmosphere is peaceful.

Powered grass travel trailer campsite (maximum 7 metres)

Liked The greenery around the site.

Disliked Small pitches, very close to other campers. Feels like the camping section of the site gets forgotten about compared to the caravans.

Facilities were pretty awful. No toilet roll in the toilet block of the camping section at all, not replenished. Dirty, old and not pleasant to use.
Showers dirty and water backed up.

Liked Seaview Holiday Park is in a good location and does indeed have a 'Sea view'. It has a pleasant 'Club style' bar and cafe, with lovely staff, which sometimes hosts entertainment , we saw 'True Foxes' and they were great. It seems that the static caravan sales side of the business is receiving a lot of attention, which is all fine. However, this focus on caravans might explain why the facilities for those in motorhomes like us and tent campers are pretty horrible. Firstly, there are simply not enough toilets and showers for the volume of people, secondly they are old, decrepit, badly maintained, unpleasant and inadequately cleaned. On every occassion that we used them there was no toilet paper and no hand towels. This just isn't good enough. Of course we all know about the difficulty of employing staff etc, but this is a basic hygene issue and needs addressing. If Seaview want to concentrate on the static caravan offering which obviously have there own toilets and showers and thus eliminate the need for shared facilities, fine, but don't market yourself as a camp site/motorhome site.

Liked Check in staff were really helpful, checked in a little early, showers were warm and never had to queue for showers or toilets. Live music on one of the nights was lovely, decent sized pitch with trees etc in between meant it was nice and private.

Disliked Toilets and showers could probably do with another check in from staff in the middle of the day to keep them nice but wasn’t too bad.

Primitive grass tent campsite

Liked Amazing showers! Amazing view.

Disliked The view is ruined by all the cars and campers, creating a separate carpark would make the pitches so much nicer.

Liked Really helpful and friendly staff, and well maintained toilets and showers. A well kept campsite with a very safe atmosphere, it was a very relaxing stay. There is also a great pool! The walk to the beach said 30 minutes on maps but it took us maybe 15 or 20 and didn’t feel long at all so don’t be put off!
Thank you to those at seaview for such a great service, we had a great mini break!

Liked Planting around site

Disliked Everything else!
Toilets and showers were dirty, not enough toilet paper, paper towels provided, no sanitary bins in toilets, facilities were outdated, grubby, needed a DEEP clean, alternatively, rip them all down and build new ones.
Not enough of them for the size of site or should be cleaned and replenished twice a day.
Pitches were small and crammed in due to circle shapes of areas.

Local attractions

Smashing Sennen Cove is one of the most famed beaches in Cornwall, for its spectacular setting as well as its surfing. Shops, pubs and artsy galleries are around the harbour; if you're feeling energetic, climb the Pedn-men-du promontory from here or hike the 11.7 mile section of the South West Coast Path from Sennen Cove to Lamorna. The Land's End Visitor Centre is also within a mile of Seaview (a pic taken at the famed Land's End signpost is obligatory) and if you're up for teeing off in spectacular surrounds, Cape Cornwall Golf Club is within five miles. Of a summer evening, pootle along to a show at the clifftop Minack Theatre, a three-mile drive away, or have a tour of it all at any time of year. A couple of mighty famed must-sees are within driving distance: the tiny tidal island of St Michael's Mount 12 miles away, which you can walk to at low tide or take the boat when the waves are in, and the pretty arty town of St Ives 15 miles from base, home to Tate St Ives. Kids will be in heaven at Paradise Park (20 miles), The Flambards Experience (25 miles), Poldark Mine (25 miles) and the National Seal Sanctuary (30 miles); further afield but well worth the trip is the lush Eden Project, 55 miles away.
