A peaceful, well-kept park with spacious, private pitches. Guests love the friendly owners, clean facilities (showers!), and location for exploring Cornwall. Minor points: occasional Wi-Fi issues, small toilet upgrades suggested. Many want to return.

Powered grass campsite

Liked Tremorvu campsite has to be the very best we’ve stayed in so far. It is small and quiet with very well spaced pitches and plenty of room for children to play. The facilities are very good with free hot showers and freezer blocks storage. There are indoor and outdoor wash up areas and electric hook ups. But best of all was the proper coffee and pastries available every morning and the option of a small bar and homemade pizza at the weekends. The shop sells just the right selection of essentials with fresh bacon from a local butcher. I don’t really want to post this because I’d rather it stayed my secret 😂

Disliked Nothing.

Power optional grass tent or RV campsite (solo)

Liked This was a fantastic site, was welcomed by the owners who took the time to explain where everything was and showed me to my pitch. They have great facilities toilets, showers, washing stations, they even have a bar and food on offer. As a female solo traveller it felt very safe and family friendly would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to stay in Cornwall.

Disliked I wish I’d stayed longer!

Powered grass campsite

Liked Absolutely everything, the site is very clean and has a family feel. It’s not over packed and is extremely peaceful. We stayed here for 8 nights and I would absolutely recommend to anyone. There is a little bar which had a lovely vibe. A shop, fresh stone cooked pizzas. Everyone was very respectful and the site was not noisy at all. I would absolutely stay here again. Owners are very helpful and friendly. Beaches are beautiful just a short 5 min drive away. Perfect location for all tourist destinations. 20 mins to the train station to get to st ives on the train (the train takes 10 mins) Thank you for a beautiful stay! Nic and linds

Local attractions

Stretch those legs out and get your boots on – there are heaps of fab walks nearby. Traipse up Tregonning Hill (half an hour or so) for tiptop scenic views and then carry on to the National Trust’s Godolphin Estate (an hour’s hike) for gorgeous garden walks. (Top tip: the grounds are particularly ravishing when all the bluebells burst to life in May.) You can stroll by the sea too should you wish, using the scent of salt air to point you to the South West Coast Path, a mere couple of miles away. You’re never far from a stunning beach in Cornwall, either: the top choices round here are Praa Sands (10 minutes’ drive) for sandcastles, swimming and surfing, and the little secluded cove at Rinsey, just a little further east. For kayaking and paddleboarding, plot a course to Porthleven harbour (15 minutes). Pack yourselves into the car and you’re within easy reach of all sorts of day trips: St Michael's Mount (15 minutes), The Flambards Experience (20 minutes), the Cornish Seal Sanctuary (25 minutes) and the galleries of St Ives (half an hour); you might also consider going all the way to the edge at Land’s End (40 minutes).
