Great campsite! Owners are super friendly & helpful. Spacious, level spots, perfect for exploring The Lizard. Free-roaming chickens/turkeys a hit (George the turkey!). Clean showers/toilets with hot water. Some road noise & cobwebs noted. Peaceful, great value, but rustic.

Liked This great little campsite is a real gem. You will be welcomed into the family with warmth and generosity. Liz the owner even allowed me to come into her home so I could use the WiFi for some important meetings. It was so kind also of them to help us with lifts to and from Lizzard and one of the other residents even took us on a tour of the local beaches and harbours. Such a lot of kindness here. The washing machine is £3 not the normal £6 and the shower doesn’t run out of steaming hot water or switch off after a minute like a lot do!

Liked Friendly staff, chickens / goose was lovely to see just roaming around. they mostly stayed around the toilet area. Toilets are good with always toilet roll. Very large pitches and great locations for exploring.
Disliked Can be noisy towards the road with tractors etc. but didn’t really hear much in the pitch we was.

Liked Perfect for children. Safe. Good space to play overlooked by surrounding tents/vans. Friendly owners. Good washing up facilities. Showers and toilets very good and clean. Nice small site. Did not find the traffic noise to be any problem. Liked the informal rustic feel.
Disliked I couldn’t find a place to freeze ice blocks. I’m sure if I had been bothered enough to ask it would have been explained but might be helpful to make this more obvious.

Liked Lovely atmosphere here.Small site near road,but traffic can be heard not all the time.Lovely hot water and chickens run around.In the two larger showers there is plenty of space for putting dry clothes to not get wet with a chair and several hooks.A clean mop to mop any water spillage afterwards.
Disliked Very tired looking site.Static vans need a clean as looking a tad green.The hard standings are sad with grass encroaching around all sides and weeds growing in the middle.Just needs a bit of loving.

Liked Nice & relaxed site not far from Kynance Cove. Facilities were good. Water tap & EHU close by.
Disliked Bit of traffic noise during daylight hours but quietened down after dark. Sadly tumble dryer was broken.

Liked Quiet site. Short walk along a road (with no path) to footpaths leading to Lizard and Kynance cove.
Disliked Showers/toilets: clean but don’t look up! I’m not usually too bothered by spiders but there were excessive amounts of cobwebs and hence spiders that prevented me from enjoying a shower.
