Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked A really brilliant host, that couldn’t have done more to make you feel welcome. You’re provided with a range of activities and hospitality in the local area as well as on hand support whenever you need it. Never received such personal service on a site. Nice clean facilities and a brilliant shower - wonderful walks and villages to explore - worth a visit.

Bell tent (large)
Liked We stayed in one of the Safari tents and it was lovely, plenty of space, lovely comfortable beds and a sofa to loaf on.
The Safari tent comes with a small fridge and a kettle as well as plates/bowls other serving things and cutlery. Outside it has 6 plastic chairs a wooden picnic table and fire pit and they supplied us with a basket of wood and firelighters and they even brought out marshmallows for us to toast in the evening.
The owners were amazing, they couldn't help us enough, going well above and beyond what we would expect.

Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We had such a great time staying here. The site owner was so lovely, she would check in with everyone to make sure we were okay, she had lots of local recommendations and even came round with marshmallows every evening. Also the facilities were the cleanest I’ve seen at any campsite. We also got to meet Freddie the golden retriever which was a highlight of our trip.

From the manager: Hi,
We are in the process of trying to add more showers and more toilets: we are a small family business we can only do so much. We tell all dog owners that it’s dogs on leads.

Liked Thoughtful provision of fridge, telephone charging point.
Nice generally peaceful site.
The owner was very welcoming and helpful.
Disliked It was a bit difficult to find as signage is barely visible from the road. There was background traffic noise from the road, but this was not overly distracting and died down at night.

From the manager: Hi, thank you for staying with us and we are glad you want to come and stay again. We are sadly only allowed the size sign that we have but we would love a bigger one in the future. Sadly, we can't control the road noise but it does die out at night. Kind regards Cooll Camping
