This friendly, relaxed campsite boasts helpful owners and a peaceful vibe. Guests loved the spacious, clean facilities, especially the restrooms. Great for exploring nearby villages and Canterbury. Basic facilities can be tight during busy periods, but most would return.

Powered grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Stayed 3 days with 3 kids in the end of August. Very convenient location- near Margate and Whistable.
Great for kids - football, badminton and basketball available. The owner every evening was bringing marshmallows for the kids in the whole campsite. Very nice and friendly owner and can give useful advises where to go for the day, where the food is good etc.
The site is not huge , but big enough- has 1 shower , never needed to queue, 2 toilets + 2 chemical toilets, 2 fridges and 1 sink. Everything was always clean and maintained, with washing liquid available if needed and liquid hand soap.
We had a fantastic time as well as the kids - they made friends and played with them. The campsite was quiet, no problems with anything and anyone.
We are planning to come back soon with friends.

Look forward to visiting again with our ten year old daughter.
Primitive grass and earth travel trailer campsite
Liked We were welcomed by the lovely female owner, who gave us a map of local places to eat and visit. She also came round in the evening and handed out complimentary marshmallows for the fire pit. Thank you!
Lovely, relaxed atmosphere for couples and families. Great proximity to Canterbury. Bus stop 5-10 minute walk.
Football goal and basketball hoop for children.
Toilets and shower regularly cleaned and checked.

Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Big field, games for the kids to keep them entertained,
Owners came round with marshmallows for us while we were round our camp fire which was a lovely touch
We did the kent safari walk where the public footpath runs through the middle of howletts zoo, was good to see the elephants & explore the local area, even managed to see a local cricket match too.

Gem of a Camping Spot!
Primitive grass and earth tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Connie was so lovely upon greeting us and settling us in. We got a small welcome pack with local pubs and walking distance to-dos alongside being given a great little spot to set up camp (as per a small request we made when booking, if it was available).
Dog friendly and really welcoming to all. The campsite is spacious, well kept and open to all. Facilities are really good and served us (and everyone else) really well. We didn’t have to travel too far each day to go to places nearby e.g. paddle boarding, Canterbury and beach walks.
This is truly a real gem of a camping spot. My partner, Collie and I had a really great stay and if we’re ever back this neck of the woods we absolutely know where we’ll be staying! Really competitively priced and cannot recommend Cooll Camping enough.
