What customers say
Great campsite praised for friendly staff and kid-friendly vibe. Spacious sites, easy access to local spots. Pod solar power and bed comfort noted as cons, with mains electricity coming. Some noise/cleanliness concerns, but many found facilities good. Activities varied. Solid for families, good New Forest base.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Staff was great. There were lots of activities for our children. And the fridges for campers was a nice extra
Disliked Maintenance felt a bit reactive. It was a bit noise with planes cars and trains to hear.

We would return.
Ready tent (five person)
Liked Clean facilities. Limited number of tents. Ready made tents. Lots of space. Fridge and freezer facilities.
Disliked The location is quite noisy with car, train and air traffic throughout the night. Maybe activity options for under 5s?

Great site in good location, will be back
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We had a wonderful stay at Tile Barn, toilet and shower block was clean and large. Lovely big site to explore for the children and lots of space to play. Great options for bringing your own tent or the pods or pre pitched tents as well.

Nice site but not for me
Ready tent (five person)
Liked Staff were great and friendly with a smooth check in. Fridges were great for space and use of a kettle very handy. Tent size was great for 4 of us for 4 nights and allowed to add gazebo for extra space.
Bathroom block generally clean, just the usual campsite grass etc walked in.
Walking distance to Brockenhurst train station and town...approx 15-20mins.
Disliked For paying more for a pitched tent, I was disappointed that the tent was soo close to the road boundary, plans trains and lorries all through the night which eased at 1am.
Freezers advertised were not available due to large party on site, meaning all others couldn't use this facility, meant a few tweaks to dinner plans and struggle to keep ice packs frozen for own cool box.
Although not the sites fault. Disruptions at 1 am through older kids presumably from the larger camp bashing the pre pitches tents and running away. Half hour of laughs for them but over an hour of settling the youngest for me.
If you like a hot shower than this is a great place, however showering in burning hot water was a bit much. A lower temperature would be appreciated as you cannot adjust yourself.

A nice campsite, great location just rather expensive
Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Great sized pitch. Friendly welcome.
Disliked Showers were boiling hot and you could adjust the temperature. Wanted to hire a ready to go firepit but was over £20. Quite expensive.

Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Onsite facilities were clean, easy check in process and secure car park away from the tent pitches.
We were cycling from the campsite after check out and thankfully were able to use to shower and car park facilities after leaving our pitch.
Disliked Only downside was the showers which you couldn’t change the temperature on. They were very hot however this was only a minor issue.

Ready tent (five person)
Liked The tent was nice and good facilities
Disliked This place is more for schools on residential...the campsite is by a busy dual carriageway and noise at night from traffic was loud. No activities going on for kids bar one even though website shows archery and all sorts

Would stay again, but perhaps just bearing in mind no activities.
Ready tent (five person)
Liked Friendly campers, shower and toilet facilities well maintained. Site was clean and ready tents were clean, and decent sized. Very standard camp, but an easy enjoyable stay near some lovely beautiful surroundings.
Disliked Noisy road behind our field, up to very late at night, staff not sure when activities would be on, nothing on during bank holiday weekend at all which was a shame as was one of the key reasons for booking this site. Fire pits I felt were a lot of money, £20 a night is insane to me for a barrel.. But alas, next time we will bring our own.

Not family friendly, designed for school groups.
Camping pod
Liked The local area, the fridges / microwave, toilets before they were filthy and out of toilet paper.
Disliked The pre-erected tents are too close together for comfort, suitable for a school trip - not for families to be side by side.
The bathrooms were filthy in the morning - says more about the other campers than the site.
No monitoring of noise at night, or adherence to quiet hours.
