What customers say
Friendly staff & great amenities like a pool, but touring pitches can be unkempt/uneven. Clubhouse & entertainment are good, though some facilities need better cleaning/upkeep.

Powered gravel travel trailer campsite (large)
Liked Handy for overnight stay on way to Blackpool Airshow.
Toilet and shower block clean.
TV reception ok.
Disliked The large pitch we were allocated was on an end and too short for our motorhome so we had to go in sideways. We were unable to level so on a slant.
No information given on check in apart from code for barrier and map, but pitch numbers on the map were unreadable.
No guidelines on quiet time - is there one? It was noisy at night, adults talking loudly outside their pods/caravans and children behind us running, screaming and laughing until midnight.
WiFi is none existent.
Don't think we could've stayed more than one night.

Liked nice location, quite peaceful, good facilities. Pub and pool staff friendly and helpful.
Disliked Reception staff quite rude and not helpful at all. Went with my sister, we had pitches next to each other. Had to share electric as my pitch electric point wasn't working. Phone twice about this. Was told maintenance would be there as soon as they could but never turned up. Pitches were all gravel and no grass.

A good site if the reception staff would have been better. No wifi
Powered gravel travel trailer campsite (large)
Liked The pool for the kids, the lad managing the pool area was really friendly, helpful and polite.
Disliked The reception staff, blunt, offish, not helpful at all. Had no electricity (even though it was paid for) asked reception for help they said they'd send someone, phoned twice and nothing! Asked if any entertainment was told yes music, on walking down in the evening we walked in to the ending of bingo games we'd missed (not helpful at all).

Liked A few things for the children to do which is at extra cost of the stay.
Shop on site.
Disliked Gravel pitches were over grown with weeds
Directions to get to the touring pitches were none existent.
The wash areas were filthy
Some water points were over grown with trees - more maintenance required.
Some staff were rude
Sign on wall on the road leading up to the campsite site pointing to turn left but campsite is straight on.
Toilets had splattered toilet roll on the ceilings.
Could smell someone smoking drugs - not suitable for a family holiday with small kids
Seats in the bar area had crumbs everywhere.

Will visit again. New owners and new costs. Still a good site.

Liked The club house was clean and modern but disappointed it didn’t sell food.
The bar staff friendly but the entertainment needs up dating!
Disliked The touring site was scruffy and needed some time spent weeding and a general spruce up especially the touring area. No WIFI. Some flowers would make it look so much better! This is one of the most expensive we have stayed and the most disappointing.

Thamks again for a fun filled stay! Staff on site were excellent!!
Camping pod (Private restroom amenities, no pets)
Liked Great sized park. Fabulous views, entertainment for the kids (aged 8 and 4) was brilliant! We had a small issue with our accommodation to which the team were super reactive and resolved in no time- Thanks Again Roger and Team!
Disliked Great place however the accommodation could be a little cleaner- lots of dust and cobwebs in obvious places. Not an issue as we went over with items we brought but just that little bit more attention to detail goes a long way!
