Liked Location
Disliked Facilities- toilet block a distance from camp site not good at night . Not always available to campers due to being in use to public. At these times could use disabled facility which was flooded when shower been used due to blocked drain which should be cleaned regularly to prevent blockage. Not ideal for the amount of site users. Site rules regarding quiet times not adhered to.

Liked Facilities- toilet block very clean
Staff - very helpful and. Friendly
Playground - so close
Disliked Small issue - week day morning local schools use the pool from 9am which meant for safeguarding reasons we were not allowed to use shower/toilet block. Which lead to a queue for the 1 toilet/shower. Not a problem if we knew this in advance !! Mentioned to staff who were very understanding and will mention this on pre arrival information

Just back from 3 nights here…
Powered grass campsite
Liked Just back from 3 nights here and my goodness I’ve fallen in love with the site!
Very flat, tree sheltered campsite with only a small amount of decent sized pitches! (Pick your own) electric available on every pitch but may need a longer cable for some pitches! Fresh water available within the site! River running along pitch side making for beautiful views! Just out the gate of the campsite is a massive community play park - absolute bonus when travelling with kids (mine are 6&12) then a little further up is the swimming pool where the washing facilities, bins, showers and toilets are. Swimming pool is pre-book and open from 3:30 - 6pm which was a blessing in this heatwave! Site is beautifully peaceful, bar the geese at the river and sheep in the next field (ear plugs if a light sleeper) the volunteer warden was onsite a few time and very approachable!
Overall a lovely little site, bonus pool and park and a short drive from Penrith!

Great break as always
Powered grass campsite
Liked Location & space are superb. River & outdoor swimming pool all close at hand.
Disliked Only point is when swimming pool is open for lessons which was frequently,(Which is a great use of the pool) only one toilet is available. If you have a full campsite and someone is showering it can be a rather long wait. Perhaps a reconfiguring of the toilets to have a single toilet separate would be beneficial along with the disabled toilet/shower room.
