What customers say
This cozy, quiet campground boasts stunning views, great access to hikes & local shops. Guests rave about spotless facilities, friendly owners. Level pitches with hookups & water are a plus. Minor notes: some hardstanding spots & awning challenges, and occasional signage confusion. Highly recommended, many plan to return!

Liked The views are spectacular. The owners very attentive. Showers and toilets cleaned regularly.
Disliked Some of the grounds were small stone chippings but other parts were large. It was easier on the small stones. Perhaps this can be easily changed?

Great small site, great value for lakes and all hard standing.

Liked Great location for Keswick and bassenthwaite
Toilet blocks were large and as a small site never saw anyone else using them.
Great dog walking field
Great walks from site
Remote check in, just arrive and take an empty pitch.
Disliked This site has some small business units just before the entrance, this didn’t put me off and for hard standing with electric the price is very good and a great base.
