What customers say
Spectacular views, spotless facilities, and friendly owners are highlights. Enjoy a peaceful rural retreat with great pitches & farm animals. Convenient for exploring. Some weekend noise & limited restrooms noted, plus a few rocky pitches.

Great campsite with clean facilities and lovely scenery.
Orchard powered grass tent campsite (two person)
Liked Lovely views and scenery. Clean showers and toilets. Really peaceful and relaxing site. Good pitch size and nice privacy with the greenery around. Great location for lots of the lakes and hikes. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this campsite.
Disliked Very minor things: Would have been great if there were some paper towels / hand towels in the toilets to dry your hands after washing. Also a couple of times there was no toilet roll so would be handy to have a spare left in there. We were also advised to bring a 5m electric hook up lead but this didn’t reach our tent so I’d recommend bringing a longer one! Lucky we’d brought a very long extension cable. The website also mentioned a games room but we couldn’t find this anywhere, so not sure if it was closed when we stayed.

Orchard powered grass tent campsite (two person)
Liked A beautiful site on a working farm with sheep grazing in neighbouring fields.great features like a shared fire pit (away from the camping area to minimise disruption), games room, hireable hot tub and amazing views. Seemed to attract a nice family clientele and wasn't rowdy. Was well maintained. Very friendly welcome and thoughtful staff who made the extra effort to find us a pitch we were happy with.
